Our family had a really great time at Hollywood Bowl in Broadway Central Plaza, Birmingham.nnThe whole place was well laid out and well looked after, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout.nnSpecial shoutout to Ali on security had a good chat with him one evening and he was really informative and gave us good advice in food places and local places to visit.nnThere’s a lot on offer at Hollywood Bowl beyond just bowling. The arcade has a great variety of machines, there’s air hockey, and even colouring sheets for kids with crayons available which is a nice touch for the little ones.nThe VIP bowling lanes are a great option too if you want something a bit more premium with the red curtains for privacy.nnFood and drink options are solid plenty of choice including good vegetarian options, milkshakes, ice cream, and even Sahara Nuts.nThe deals on jugs of drinks are worth it the kids loved the slushies by the jug load, and there’s comfortable seating throughout, especially the booth seating near the bar.nnThe pool tables are a nice addition as well, and it’s convenient that they take both contactless and coins.nnLocation wise, it’s really handy right opposite the Odeon Luxe and close to places like Costa, Subway, Rock Up climbing, and others like Dominos, Dixy Chicken, and I Crave. Mulligans indoor crazy golf is right next door too, so there’s loads to do in the areannA fun, well run venue with something for everyone.nnWe can definitely recommend.
Great bowling place my kids love it here. We used the VIP area last week which was nice, the seats are comfy and its much more spacious. Good atmosphere and music in there and staff were friendly!
If you dont wanna read basically customer service gets a 0 and this is purely personal tbfnnAsked manager if there was any place i could put my phone to charge because i had literally no way of getting home and i had 0 battery with no cash on me she said they didnt even though there was one at the front desk type c exactly what i needed which i couldve used for 12 seconds and gotten a ride out of their but she denied me. 5 minutes later i find 3 seperate chargers that charge any phone, security guard helped me though he showed me where the charger was so shoutout to bro
god, i absolutely love this place to bits. i somehow found it and decided to visit on a weekend, it was a lot more packed that day with kids running around a little. honestly, if you’re over 18 and you want a quiet and fun time out with your friends like i do then i really recommend coming in on a weekday and in the daytime, its quite empty and you get everything to yourself basically. its amazing. i’ve taken my sisters here, friends, and even just myself. there’s not a time i had a terrible experience here and ive been around 4-5 times now. first of all the cocktail prices? gorgeous. i’m 19, so i don’t have my own stable income quite yet since i don’t work, 2 for £12 on cocktails is ethereal especially considering some places offer 1 for £12. it’s the only place i go to for cocktails, NEVER EVER change the price please it’s literally a godsend. the workers are so so so lovely, all smiles and laid back, no awkwardness at all, and this is coming from someone who’s been socially awkward their whole life. i’d like to mention Chloe who was honestly amazing at the till, excellent customer service, really made the entire experience so much better before we left. we were literally giggling and smiling walking out of the place once we were done, definitely consider a raise or a promotion. the bathrooms are pretty clean honestly, public bathrooms are usually nasty but the hollywood bowl ones are comfortable. prices are nice for food, i think the portion on the bbq wings could be bigger honestly but other than that i don’t have any suggestions. i love this place. never ever shut down and never ever raise your cocktail prices. i should really work here sometime.
£17 per person for 3 people playing 2 games. We pre-booked online for a Saturday at 4pm. Excellent communication in the form of email and WhatsApp from them about the booking. Score board was all set up when we arrived with players names from my booking. There is a bar with a good range of drinks and also lane service is available whilst playing. We played a few games of pool and air hockey afterwards using tap and go to pay. Lots of different amusement arcade games are also available. Toilets were very clean and staff helpful during our visit.
