Had a few different type of transaction and was looked after by George Giles . So nice to have someone stand and greet you as apposed to my previous bank where I was always told to make an appointment etc ….. George took care of all our requests and was a pleasure to deal with. What was even nicer if there was something new for him he didn’t bluff and explained he would ask someone else . A pleasure to bank with a more up to date bank !
Best Bank I have used and been to in chelmsford. Always very polite, and very helpful with all my issues and Transactions. They remember my name and know me and that is brilliant customer service. Would recommend this branch and This bank.
Toby delivered a great customer service and was able to print out a new card without any problem...let's hope the new one doesn't go missing in action!
Really bad experience, the bank turned off one of my standing orders from my banking account which made me get in trouble. When I popped up trying to sort this out, they basically told me: "nothing to dowith them" Absolutely disappointed and useless bank.
Always have issues with this bank. Took time off work 3 weeks ago to go into the bank and change details and can you guess, absolutely nothing done. Will be closing our accounts soon. Phoned up even these people don't have a clue and keep on transferring you to someone else. What a joke...
George was extremely helpful with setting up my account. He was fast, likeable, and well informed
Help desk via phone are very helpful. Manager at the branch is not at all helpful. My disabled son wanted to open an account with Metro but has no photographic id. He has numerous hospital and local government letters addressed to him and his birth certificate but these are not acceptable in branch although the help desk said they would be.
I'm still waiting to be a fan... Don't get me wrong: I'm impressed.. But not yet at fandom
Pathetic and a Joke. I'm trying to top up an VISA DEBIT card of CRYPTO.COM, using as method of pay my metro bank account and its keep getting blocked. 2 months ago worked, last month worked, after numerous calls worked. Now again they blocked my transaction request and saying that they don't allowed despite passing all the security check etc. Banks don't like new banking companies which are offering better perks and better returns. I top every month my Crypto.com visa debit card and use it for day to day shopping as it offers me 3% cashback on all the transactions. Cmon metro Bank stop being silly. Accept competition
Great service. Staff really go above and beyond. Left branch today as I had left it late to pay HMRC invoice and deliberately went to branch to ensure payment went through rather than use On-line transfer. They called me back later that day, of their own volition to confirm payment had gone through. Thanks !
