I love the Merrion centre its an old shopping centre I remember it in the 80s and The cat automation inside a large glass box that cycled and moved the cogs wheels and unmbrella. What I love about the Merrion is that its light and airy feel inside the centre with its glass geen house style roofs. They're also tables and chairs where you can sit with your own food and drink and an eclectic mix of shops from Morrisons Supermarket, Jumbo records, Vintage clothes shops, bakery and cake shops etc. It also has a homely unpretentious warm feel about it. However be careful when its raining as the sloping floor to the entrance can be slippy. Though they're warning signs. I find the sloping floor or ink line endearing. The Merrion Shopping Centre.

The Merrion Centre is a bustling hub situated at the heart of Leeds City center. offering a wide range of shops and services strating from grocery,fashion,restaurants,coffe shop, medicine,cloths, it caters to a wide range of needs. The cleanliness and accessibility add to the positive experience. While it may not be the fanciest, its practicality and variety make it a reliable destination for everyday essentials and more. Morrion is the one of the main Grocery store that's brings me to this shopping mal. There a artificial green garden in the middle of it, to take a break & relaxing. This is a beautiful place which always shine like a star. Must go n enjoyee !!
Visited today and the green space garden looks fantastic. It's unclear if it's a permanent feature, but it's a great spot to take a break during shopping. It's an ideal place to relax, and it's much cleaner now. It's certainly an improvement over its previous appearance.
A place where one can go for shopping groceries with few good supermarkets, can spend time with family, sitting, eating and gossiping. Children can enjoy at the playing area. Overall a good place for family or solo visit.
It’s a big mall that houses Morrisons, Leed sexual health, Super drugs, brows, bureau de change, Iceland, key cut, DHL among other stores in the building. There’s a sitting area therein and the whole place is always sparkling clean.
It's a great shopping centre with lots of different types of shops inside, from food to sports clothes, bargain shops, health and beauty, even a Works. A nice atmosphere and people working in all the shops.
The Merrion Centre has improved massively in recent years and has plenty of fun little shops, as well as places to relax such as the 'library' and a little area to sit with the children and eat. It used to be the less desirable of Leeds' shopping centres but has thrown off that mantle and now stands proudly as it's own thing. Different but in a good way. Though I must say, I do miss some of the more niche games shops and comic shops that seemed to inhabit the centre back in the day!
Only really used the carpark as was visiting the O2 academy, but from what we saw, there was plenty of shops and the whole place was really clean. For city center parking it was very well priced.
Five star rating for being where you'll find Blue Velvet vintage clothing, Jumbo Records and Oba Korean and Japanese restaurant. The rest is a bit pound shop pound shop but if you like that kind of thing then great.
