The Cross Gates shopping center is in neighborhood of Leeds. Crossgates Shopping Centre has a lot of stores, restaurants, and services to meet the needs of local community. It has a parking out side and you can directly enter into the mall via parking. The center is a convenient option for shoppers in the area because it is conveniently located near public transportation and has plenty of parking. In order to improve the shopping experience and involve the community, it often offers events and activities. It has local cafes and great sitting areas. Savers, poundland and other local and economical on the go grocery items. To sit down and relax there are multiple coffee shops and cafes including Gregg's. Overall I like this nice little space to go grab daily items.
I fear we are close to the end here. Less and less to draw you in. As time has gone by the landlords have become extremely greedy, forcing years old shops out of the centre. Independent businesses are now rare, small little traditional units have gone as have all the public seats for customers. There used to be a thriving community here but the owners haven't invested in it and now local people would prefer a new centre under new ownership or maybe even a community owned centre.
Not too sure what is supposed to be happening with this "shopping centre" as there are many empty premises, that have been empty for a while. I counted 11 empty retail units. There is a good butchers shop but that's about it. My advice is to go elsewhere for your shopping
Could have more open shops . Nowt but coffee n mobile phones. Let's have the old tesco back. Gent's clothing shop or fruit shop
This is the only shopping centre I know which has been adopted by a cat, Luna, who is now a local celebrity. I am sure her review would be 5 stars, as indeed would mine, but it has lost a couple of big shops recently which are still awaiting new tenants. Nonetheless this is a great little centre if you want something more homely than the bright lights of the Springs nearby and its myriad of fashion outlets. There are some chains, Poundland, Iceland, The Works, and Heron Foods, but they are all great value not massively expensive. There is a Costa, a Cooplands and a Greggs, but there are also two great well established local cafes, several independent shops, a Specsavers, and even a library. There is ample cheap parking, and you can get round in a couple of hours or spend time sipping the day away. It is immaculately clean and well kept, and has good disabled access with everything on a level. It has great bus and train links too.
Nice centre although changed a lot over the years. A lot more empty units and not charge for parking. Couple of decent shops.
Super clean, friendly and a good range of shops although the number of closed units are increasing.
As a recent wheelchair user I visited the centre to do some shopping but slso to get some practice with the chair. The vast majority of shops have level access and wide entrances. The centre has a tiled floor which is easy to move the chair. While most if the centre is level thee is an incline towards Austhorpe Road entrance though not steep. A very accessible centre with even more shops om rhe outside. Lovely and tasteful Xmas decorations.
A very basic little shopping centre but it's very tidy and has a lovely atmosphere with the locals.
Warm, friendly, great choice, always look forward to visiting the cafes. Great place.
