Went to an event here. Gorgeous grounds but not enough parking. Friendly attentive staff. Nice expensive drinks. Lovely 3 course meal. Event murder mystery was fabulous, highly entertaining and memorable night.
Went for a meal here ahead of our wedding in July and the food and drinks were lovely. The staff are truly outstanding, they were so attentive during the meal and everyone from reception, waiting staff and our wedding planner have gone above and beyond. We are even more excited for our big day. Thank you so much Mere Court!Rooms: 5/5
We loved this beautiful hotel. The staff were fantastic & the food was lovely. Everything that was included in our one nights stay, with a buy a gift was more than we expected & we felt spoilt. We do like our hotel bed,breakfast & evening meal deals & this is our favourite hotel, of all we have visited. The jacuzzi was easy to use & plenty of room for two. Will be back for sure.
We attended yesterday for afternoon tea. Sandwiches and cakes were great, but scones were ruined by being served with Chantilly cream instead of traditional clotted cream! Could also serve a pot of hot water to top up the teapot. Attractive venue and very accessible.
An enjoyable and delicious afternoon tea with friends. Staff are friendly, the service was excellent and the surroundings are very comfortable. We had the afternoon tea with Prosecco. I mentioned on booking that one of the party was a vegetarian, this wasn’t an issue. The selection of sandwiches provided was excellent as were the cakes and scones. We hope to return soon.
Recently had my wedding at Mere Court and could not talk more highly of the venue and the team. Georgia and Robbie looked after our every want and need, as well as the rest of the staff being very attentive. Thank you all for a brilliant weekend!Rooms: 5/5
Hotel has been contacting us few days after we left, trying to get us to pay for our room and meal! We have tried to explain to them that we paid on booking having proof the receipt and our bank statement but they say we need to pay them and they also want more money that the room actually cost. Booking confirmed immediately our payment but the hotel never came back to us to apologise for distress. The hotel is not family and children friendly.
Lovely historic venue. Comfortable room with period type bathroom. Evening meal was a bit disappointing, expected better from 2AA rosettes, but more than made up for with the superb breakfast. Will visit again but just B&B next time.Rooms: 5/5
Great hotel. We spent one night here to visit Manchester. On arrival Laura was very friendly and chatty. She checked us in, and gave us lots of info, very quickly and efficiently. The room was beautiful with lovely furnishings made a change from the usual chain hotels decor Our evening meal in the cosy restaurant was delicious and we were well looked after by Luke and Catherine.
Stay and park package was perfect. Very Large room. Friendly and helpful staff. Evening meal choices in the restaurant are typical bar meals and quite acceptable. Included taxi service to and from airport was seemless.
