Mercer Roof Terrace
"In one sweep, the view from Mercer Roof Terrace takes in London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard. Here, guests can dine al fresco. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to bring the outdoors in. The menu celebrates the best of modern British cooking, showcasing meat and fish from the British Isles, cooked using our charcoal oven.Starters include British asparagus, Cornish crab, and hay-smoked beef tartare. Mains include charcoal grilled steaks such as our signature 1.2kg Tomahawk, Suffolk free-range chicken glazed with honey and lavender."

Went to the Mercer roof terrace yesterday for dinner and was expecting a little better considering the price of the food! The views are lovely but the food is good but not much flavour to my main which was chicken. The cocktails were okay but not the best either. Aside from this, the staff were attentive and the atmosphere was lovely very quiet when I arrived but busy by the time I left. I’d consider coming back and trying something else to eat, mostly to see the views again.
The food is delicious, and the space is beautifully designed. We did have to wait a bit between courses, and one of our dishes was forgotten, but overall, it was a very positive experience. The outdoor booths are adorable and a really fun experience for dinner during winter. I will absolutely be returning.Food: 4/5
Excellent service, the staff there had really good sense of humour and made sure that your glass was never empty. The venue is small but it packs a punch with its views and cozy atmosphere. Food was scrumptious and very filling, I didn’t even manage to order a desert after the mains! That’s a very good sign indeed regarding the design of the menu by the chef. Really chic venue, I’d say give it a whirl if you’ve never been.
We booked a winter cabin to celebrate a birthday. The cabin itself was lovely and very cosy. Staff were brilliant and explained all the dishes well, and the food was delicious. The only downside was the lock on the cabin, so we would either be locked in by the staff or we would have to keep getting up for to unlock it otherwise the door would swing wide open and it was quite cold. The cabin itself fits 4 people but the table wasn’t really big enough for 4 mains and drinks.
The food, service and ambiance were exceptional. My gaspaucho and fish main were both wonderful. The wait staff were attentive, but not obtrusive. We couldn't imagine having a more pleasant lunch. It was wonderful.
We came here on a weekday evening and did not have a great experience. The ambience was good and the service was great aswell but that doesn’t make up for having raw, uncooked food twice. We got the lamb chop, which was raw twice- we had to end up substituting it for the chicken which was also very bland and lacked flavour. The monkfish was okay, again lacked flavour. The price point here is also high- chicken, monkfish and fries was about £70. We did get a complimentary dessert for the uncooked lamb which was nice. The waiters were great but food is the heart of the restaurant and that is why this is being rated so low. The views are also okay but they are also blocked in a way.
What a lovely dinner and night we had with my friends! The music, the atmosphere, welcoming staff, stunning views and fair prices for the food definetly made our night :
Fantastic lunch, wine, service and views at Mercer Rooftop terrace. Perfect for a summer afternoon with colleagues and or friends. Recommend the tomato salad, chips & stone-bass. Will be back for luncheons!
Lovely hotel the staff were great, every where was immaculate not the biggest place but I prefer that and it had a lovely roof garden. There are two tube stations nearby about 5 mins walk if that spot on.
Nice and welcoming staff. Dinner was good and the drinks were amazing when we where there in the evening. We went back Saturday afternoon as I loved my Pistachios & Macha Martini. Unfortunately so was next day Martini a belly flop Be there in the evening and hope for the perfect cocktail
