I was tattooed by Math while he was guesting at Ultimate Skin in Leeds. I came in as a walk in a pretty late one too! and ended up with the most gorgeous bee tattoo. The entire experience was friendly and professional, and things that really get me about this tattoo is the detail and the placement: both are absolutely exceptional. Definitely one of my favourites. Would absolutely recommend to anyone :
Filled out the enquiry form on Math's website and got a reply an hour later, sent him my ideas as was booked in that night for my first tattoo in the next few days! His design was perfect and made me feel at ease plus he was very gentle with the needle so hardly felt much which is a huge bonus! The detail is incredible and the lines so fine, it was so good that on the same day my brother contacted Math to also book in for his first tattoo.
Math has incredible talent and an amazing professionalism and personality. So far I have 3 tattoos by him and he’s definitely become my go to London artist. Whatever idea I’ve thrown at him, he’s come back with an amazing design. 10/10. 5 star. 100% Recommend.
Math was perfect - I only have a couple of small tattoos and was a bit nervous about getting my third, but he couldn’t have been more kind and easy going....super lovely and relaxed, and insanely light hands as promised. I barely felt it! The work is amazing too, which is the most important part - a stunning single line rose on my inner ankle which I am being complimented on constantly. I love it!
Math is the best tattoo artist I know. I made a mistake of getting tattoos elsewhere but I learned the hard way I should never try to find another tattoo artist. I've recommended him to my friends and 100% of them were happy with the final result. If you are looking for a highly skilled and super friendly tattoo artist look no further.
There is something about Math that makes me comfortable sending people I know to him. People who are less tattooed than I am, people who might be anxious, people who are waiting for the right person. I have known him since 2013, back when he worked on a very dark ink splatter tattoo on my ankle in London. Ever since, he has tattooed places on my body where I would otherwise feel uncomfortable letting someone get in - because of personal insecurities, the objectification of women’s bodies, anything - and his outstanding and almost otherworldly light handed touch really helps. His work has evolved so strongly and rapidly over the years, showing someone whose artistry is large and evolving. He creates a safe, peaceful, and comfortable environment for everyone on his table. I’m still not sure exactly how he manages to be so light handed and swift in the execution. I understand tattoos require a needle to pierce the skin. Math defies that logic. Through his fine line work but also ink splatter and other pitch black silhouettes, he is a London staple, and I could not recommend him more.
I signed up for an appointment a week in advance and payed the deposit. The day of when I showed up for my appointment I was told me that I was double booked. There was no notice of this until I got there, the front desk worker was very unprofessional. I did not get reimbursed for the Uber which I paid for to get there in time for my appointment.
