This has to be one of London's most fantastic hidden gems! The vibe is amazing! The food we tried was fantastic and made me wish my stomach was 178x larger in order to have more. Had some of the best mojitos ever there. Would recommend this place to everyone.Food: 5/5
We got together to celebrate a Birthday and it was the Best, we had all ages attending and we all found something to eat and it was so good, but there is so much food you can choose from you have to come back !!!! The atmosphere is brilliant, there are side rooms with live music, a Boxclub and probably more that we didn’t see !!! Staff are friendly depending to what bar you go, the staff at the food booth are super friendly and the ones clearing the tables well they don’t like there jobs because they are really unfriendly!!!
The food here was fairly good. The pad Thai tasted good but I thought needed a little more seasoning/sauce on it. They did allow you to grab peanuts and red pepper flakes to add a little crunch and spice. They had several options though for food which I appreciated. The whole market is overflowing with options that anyone would like. There’s food, dessert, and drink options galore! We also tried some of the gelato. While decent, it wasn’t anything like you would find in Italy. Service at the Thai stall was amazing! They were quick with the food. They were very responsive and even accommodated more asks. The service however at the gelato shop was less than desirable. We had to wait several minutes for someone to even come over to us. And then she was unpleasant and unfriendly. The atmosphere was really nice. These restaurants are set in an old church which was stunning. There is a lot of seating and a lot of people so it’s a lively and fun place to visit. Highly recommend!
Good selection of food & drinks here. Just a short walk from the subway station. I had katsu and soupy ramen. The flavor was strange, not Japanese at all. But the Latin American grill pork belly was delicious, and the portion is great for two people to share. There is a small boxing club near the secret garden with more outdoor seating.
Everything is fresh and flavourful. The market has a great vibe. Many seats are available outdoor and indoor for rainy days as well as on sunny days. Definitely a go to place. Great music as well. Cocktails, cider and beers can be chosen with different flavors.Food: 5/5
Lots of great vendors at good prices, lots of different cuisines and drinks. Some great deals on drinks, lots of seating, heaters in the winter and lots of outdoor space for summer. Recommend! Pictures are from the grill houseFood: 5/5
Great food selections in a hip, urban pocket of London. We went for the Latin American BBQ meat platter which had a tasty selection of pork belly and smoked chicken thigh with plantain, salad and chips. It cost us a whopping £24 but was more than enough to share between 2-3 people. The Mauritian option was mid. Cocktails were decent but the alcohol here is very overpriced so expect to splash a bit and then some here.
This is one of the nicest places to visit in the city! You get all kinds of different cuisine options to choose from. Italian, libanese, Sri Lanka, burgers, grill, oysters, Asian, Latin American, different kinds of meat and much more. Also you get different bars and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Great flair, definitely worth a visit! Vegetarian options: Different kinds. Wheelchair accessibility: Possible.
Absolute gem of a place. Great atmosphere and music and so many great food and drink options to choose from. I would highly recommend the handmade pasta, deep fried pizza and the gelato is incredible! The perfect place to eat and relax in the sunshine.Food: 5/5
At the time of our visit, there were three Mercato Metropolitano locations in London. In the meantime, it seems that the fourth has also opened. This, from Elephant and Castle, is the largest and with the richest offer Mayfair is the most spectacular, by far. Here, at Elephant and Castle, there is also a large and beautiful outdoor terrace. Food from various corners of the world. A place to which I would gladly return anytime.
