Quirky high street having a market packed with ethnic foods - worth a visit if you are looking for particular foods and fruits not found in the high street shops and groceries. Worth a visit, especially if you want a taste of the normal Londoner lifestyle.
Had a wonderful afternoon. Quite the trip down memory lane, going into stores that I used to visit as a child. Found a really great fabric shop and purchased some material for an evening dress.
I love East Street Market you can find a variety of vegetables, fish, clothes, foods, beauty products, anything you name it from all over the world. Amazing
One of my favourite places to shop for fresh Fruits and Vegetables. Really do awesome deals and also very good juicy fruits and vegetables. Buy your veggies and fruits and other produce from here. Guarantee you'd like them. Also, the market has a vast majority of stalls from selling curtains, shoes to electronics, hair etc.
Real cheap and fresh raw ingredients. A few English is spoken here. Mostly Spanish and Italian. Never heard of French. Halal food can be found. Reachable by Bus directly in front of the market.
My experience going to this shop yesterday evening because I love every thing that I am doing for volunteers,but this a harder then ENEY other shops I go to see,but the manager ways such a nice speaking experience gentle man ,the shop was full people just going and coming in and their where plenty of black people where dear and I say aunty please ESCUSE me what I am doing is for the health ,of all the people and I say to them if you are coming here to buy your food and meat the shop must be clean at all times and they where happy about it’s,it was more than 12 people where dear and I speak to the manager by him self and I telling him what I am looking for when I go in to a shops and he agrees with me,so from the depths of my heart I thank Google for the way I say I would love to do this volunteer talking to people in shops I love a clean place and I am proud of my self I never give a false impression of me are the shops ok so I am glad for this yesterday the managers where surprise and the staffs where happy, never wanted ENEY one to lost their job so I give them a good advise they where all happy and till the next time,biggest thanksgiving I give to the nice costumes the food is fresh the meat and chickens where fresh nice go lucky African people spending their money with happiness love you blessings to all the people enter in that shop and it’s Halls meats chickenEuphemia Christie.
What a lovely experience walking along it. Buying bargains of stuff from clothing and vegetables to households. All the basic necessities are there! Wonderful!!!
I loved how vibrant the market was and there were a lot of variety of foods across the market.
