September 2024: Very lovely market with lots of food options. Tried the fish and chips from an outside stand and thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass fish and chips. Malted vinegar was needed to provide some enhancement to the fish. There were many other vendors selling delicious food. Paella line was 30+ deep. Perhaps will try that next time.
Loved it. Tons of very different snacking options, but the seafood was why we went. And came back. And came back again. And a fourth time. Frankly shocked that we didn’t get sick of oysters. M, L, XL. Enjoy everything. Paella was great, Japanese ribs awesome, strawberries were amazing. Yes yes yes.
This place is so much fun. So many different foods from all over the world. I had the mushroom risotto and a pistachio donut. Both were absolutely delicious. This is a must stop on your itinerary!
Great place, great vibe and super yummy food. They are fresh, high end products. When we were at the market we thought just have a look.. but then we started caring lots of bags .. which provided us 6-7 meals, so actually we saved lots of money. Highly recommended.
Fantastic, vibrant and comfortable experience. So many food outlets and food orientated delights. Definitely worth a visit and do try Fish, chips and curry sauce from the Fish Kitchen. My friend over from NZ and myself, enjoyed ours.
awesome bustling markets, such a variety of high quality local produce and products from UK and Europe awesome vibe. definitely a must-visit if you're in London. not much options for seating etc which was the only downer.
We enjoyed wandering the market. The variety of food and drinks options here is impressive. The fish & chips we shared we enjoyed. If I had one complaint, the bathroom options were quite limited.
“Borough Market is a foodie's paradise! The wide variety of food, coupled with high-quality ingredients and delicious flavors, is unbeatable. It's also the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth with a variety of delectable treats.”
Borough Market is a food lover's dream! The variety and quality of the produce, street food, and gourmet treats are exceptional. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant, making it a fun place to explore and try new flavors. From fresh ingredients to delicious meals, there’s something for everyone. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best of London’s food scene. Definitely worth the visit!
I'm just adding my review so people can search for the viral chocolate strawberries. The stand is called turnips and they're actually in the produce section. You'll find them next to the paella stand. Otherwise for the borough market itself, it's brimming with so much activity even on weekdays. We also grabbed the paella and toasted ciabatta sandwich, which were both good. There were even more options that looked delicious so definitely worth multiple visits.
