Mostly street food vendors with a dabble of lethargic household goods traders. The colourless and inconspicuous surround bereft of atmosphere doesn’t add much to a drab market that’s moderately busy at midday but rapidly dissipates thereafter. The tried, tested, obvious and commonplace the tenor here. There’s nowhere to sit, no toilet facilities and with prices on a par with far more impressive competitors in close proximity, very little reason to linger longer here.
Good street market to go at lunchtime. Varied food offerings- some great, some not so but the rotisserie chicken stand at the end of the market near Horseferry Rd is fabulous and one of the cheapest to boot. This is where I choose every time.
Great international food market and all the general shops you need if staying in the area.
A short alley adjacent to Victoria Road where not only many restaurants & hair salons were located, there would be food counters on the street till early afternoon on weekdays. Many international delicacies & street food were being served. Quite good to explore for casual lunch.
Amazing street food stalls & all HALAL! Probably one of the best in London. Must try! Highly recommend the Kebab Station!
This could’ve been good but like my friend’s sweet potato fries from the Caribbean food stall, a bit over cooked and burnt. My mutter paneer curry was also very ordinary, more garam masala than flavour if you ask me, so that’s how I’m justifying my three stars. Better luck next time I do lunch with my friend who works nearby?
Not big but nice.
A cobbled-stone working-class area in Westminster. Thriving mini market mainly selling hot food, from vegan, vegetarian, samosa's, kebabs, chicken dishes, beef dishes, salad dishes, although there are hairdressing and barber shops, clothes, shoes, optician, chemist, fruit stall, shoe shop/stall, clothes stall, fresh fruit stall. A Pub. A chinese restaurant. Eat in or takeaway, 2 newsagents. A bookmakers. Market Open Mon-Fri only. Closed Sat & Sun. Looking at the photos contributed to Strutton Ground exactly depicts the area. The grounds of Strutton is in the middle of a makeover. Brand new paving ground. Very few food stalls out there whilst works are being carried out.
Lovely city suburbs for foreign street foods. Area is spoilt for choices. Best time to visit between 1-1:30pm daily
Delicious Korean street food stall . The bibimbap is very nice indeed.
