Mehak Restaurant

Wow. Just got home from my meal tonight and it was brilliant. First went to Mehek over 10 years ago and it was fab, so had high expectations and they delivered. Got served by Ali and Ash - Ali although busy did a great job of attending to everyone and still providing really good service, Ash, was really kind and also provided a great, friendly service and held a good conversation. Food was brilliant, Duck Sizzling was beautiful, we had a few different mains and while all really nice the Balti mix was my fave. Definitely not going to wait 10 years to come back, the takeaway is calling my name already.

I don’t normally write reviews but after seeing this I am not happy. This was my second time back I initially ate in the restaurant this time was take away. My food was burnt all of it I had to throw away £16 worth of food. By the time I sat down a realised the shop was closed !! Never again

Food looked great we were just about to take a spoon out of the vegetarian curry which comes with the chicken biryani and there was literally white hair/fur. Called the restaurant and they insisted that “this is impossible our staff members have dark hair”. Told them none of us have light coloured hair and it literally came out he then asked me what should i do now i was like tbh I'm put off id rather have a refund he was like cant do that you've taken it out Disappointed with the way they treated us didn’t even say can we cook something else was happy to take it back to them as it was NEVER AGAINNN FROM MEHEK

Delicious food ,good quantity and and quality . If you really want to have tasty Indian Mehek is the place to go . 5 star service and food .

I took my younger sisters here to celebrate their birthday, I've got to say I'm not sure I've ever been treated so well in any resteraunt in my life including a few stellar central london places. The restaurant is clean and cosy, the music was adjusted to our taste when we were the only ones left in the place, the servers were kind and attentive and though our waiter didn't know much about alcohol, he made a few trips back and fourth to the bar to answer some of the questions we had about the wine. I feel the only slight downside is the food; it's not bad AT ALL, but perhaps the price to quality ratio is slightly out. other than the Peshawari naan being the best I've ever had, the currys, rice and sides were on the more run-of -the-mill side. That said. The amazing service and lovely colleagues have ensured we will venture back there again, they even threw in 2 free slices of cake for the birthday girls twins unpromted. We had a brilliant evening.

Poor service on a Saturday evening only one waiter rushing around like a madman, the other on phone calls for takeaways, however thy were reasonably polite. Had to wait for service and had difficulty calling for table to be cleared, had to wait 25 minutes and for the bill. Food very average and overpriced, had to send back the very overcooked and tasteless pinior cheese. Restaurant however is well decorated modern well laid out and very clean..... sadly not good enough though overall. £100 bill for 2 adults and a child! Needless to say would not return!

I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken was good but what kind of restaurant gives Chicken Tikka Masala without rice?

3 of us had a lovely meal. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated and has nice lighting making the atmosphere very relaxing without being too bright or too dark. The service was very good not too fussy but there when you needed them giving you time to study the menu without pressuring you. The food was excellent. I will visit again
