I normally use the free parking facility for camping in the mournes. Nice clean facilities and great for something to eat or a coffee after a hike or camp. Recommended

I stopped for a rest break and something to eat. They have a wonderful menu with tasty food. There are great views o the mountain range just out the back door. It was a busy day but there was plenty of parking nonetheless (space for about 60 vehicles). I had a great meal, used their wi-fi, had great views and the facilities were clean as well. I did not know this place existed but I'm glad I stopped. Turns out it was the only place to stop on the drive around the mountains from the north end.

Camping for 2 nights over the weekend. Great spot with good facilities however there were too many people allowed to camp so that the staff in the cafe and the cleaning staff could not cope with the demand. The toilets were always out of toilet paper and the bin area was overflowing. They also did not enforce a quiet time so loud music from some (minority) could be heard until about 3:30am. Would love to return again if they are able to make improvements.
