Beautiful campsite with excellent facilities. Pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Pitches are spacious and well spaced out. Bring your levellers! Toilets, showers, washing facilities and black waste disposal. Extensive walks and mountain bike trails up the surrounding hills. Tennis courts and playground. Lovely scenery all around. Will definitely be back.
Lovely spacious hardstand touring pitches with plenty of grass area for campervans, motorhomes and caravans all fully serviced with electricity and water. Also great tent pitches. Shower block is clean with plenty of hot water. Utility area great for dish washing. No laundry facilities. The location is absolutely amazing with plenty of walking, hiking and cycling. A parkrun takes place here every Saturday morning. Town centre is only 5mins walk with plenty of bars and restaurants and grocery stores. There is also a really good cafe onsite which is great for breakfast and lunch if you don't feel like cooking. If I had to give a negative, the only thing I would say is that it would be nice not to have to pay for electricity on the hard standings if it's not required. Surely it can be turned off for individual pitches . That being said, I have already booked to go back and have still awarded 5 stars.
The environment is magic. Beautiful. However there’s no facility where you could go, sit down and have your meal, it’s something to think about. Space is not a problem.
Great,expansive free flowing park. Children and adults alike will love. The Narnia trial is not a long walk and children will love discovering all the characters and sculptures. Wonderful place for biking, hiking and fresh air liking . Trees , gorse , heather and blackberries decorate the landscape. Toilets and cafe on site.
Toured Ireland for the month of August and this was by far the best site we stayed on. The staff especially couldn't have been more helpful. If they could improve access for vehicles over 3m it would be even better, I.e. rather than having to rely on staff to unlock gates.
Great area for camping, numbers are always capped so plenty of space to pitch. Great toilet & shower blocks and an area for washing dishes tho no power points. Smaller block by reception also has launderette facilities and a cafe.. Tennis courts, mountain trails including a Narnia Trail to fuel young imaginations. Good sized playpark and an small outdoor gym. Loads of green areas for ball games and beside a stream and a Fairy Glen. 10 minute walk into Rostrevor village for supplies. If eating out try the Thai green curry in The Church Bistro closes at 5pm weekdays so be early Highly recommended.
Lovely well kept site plenty of space between tents and vans ,next to a beautiful country park some of the finest oaks I have seen
Lovely walks! Caravan Park is clean and secure. It’s not far to walk into Kilbroney.
We love to stay here in our caravan. The access to great walks is amazing.
We camped here Friday-Monday. Toilet facilities were clean. Hot water 24/7. Staff friendly and easy to approach. Lovely forest walks. Cloughmor Stone is a must to go and see.
