Found on the ground floor we ended up here for a dessert and some bubble tea. Order was taken quickly enough but then came the bigger wait in line for the order to be filled. It was a busy day and they should have had more staff but we waited a good 20 mins. Yet the drinks were large and nice. Lots of options to choose from also. Something different if you're in town. Enjoy.
Massive selection of bubble tea on offer. Grateful for the advice given by the gent serving and taking payment at the counter on “popular” options and combinations. Massively enjoyed my fruity based tea; incredibly flavoursome. Nicely sealed so it will not spill; in a cup with a cool looking panda on it! Good fair prices with minimal waiting time.
The staff member Michael was absolutely disgusting. May I add that may not even be his name. He then said he was the manager. If he is the manager I am concerned for the staff that have to work with him. After waiting in the queue he proceeded to serve other people and once I asked to be served he told me to “go over there” pointing and raising his voice in-front of other customers. I explained I was in the queue waiting but he was so arrogant and dismissed me. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I’ve been a paying loyal customer for years and today he has just lost a customer. Disgraceful service. I’ll make sure my friends and family do not spend their hard earned money here!
Visited Mee Cha twice. Ordered the strawberry milk tea and the passion fruit tea. Their milk teas are okay. The milk they use is a powder milk which gives a little of a weird taste. However their fruit teas are delicious and light. Recommend their teas, not milk teas.Recommended dishesPassion Fruit
Fake matcha flavour, poor quality tapioca pearls, and no alternative milks available. Long waiting times, even though I appreciate they move fast. Relatively cheaper than other places, but I'd prefer to pay an extra pound to get a better quality bubble tea.Food: 2/5
I would give 4 stars see below but it is the second best place we like to get boba from if we are not close to the first place. You can add as many toppings on the ice cream and the boba drink as seen in pics. You also get a loyalty card that can give you free drinks. The staff have always been great since we’ve been going for years now, this year they made their booth big which is a great improvement, the only reason why I have given 5 stars is due to our experience of going over the years has been always great, and consistent but the last couple of times they have new staff that are not fully trained it seems and quite slow and not very efficient like our past experiences. They just don’t seem confident when creating the drinks, which has let it down but I’m still giving 5 stars as maybe it’s something they working on, finding good staff. We will still keep coming hoping things will be back to normal. I do highly recommend this place if you can’t get to the authentic original place than any other boba place in town.
Nice place, good drinks. Lines can be a bit long though that really does vary from day to day. They have both hot and cold drinks, so you can always get something right for the weather :
Absolutely loved the frozen yogurt! Defo worth the money as they’re not stingy with the toppings. The staff were polite and welcoming.
If you feeling lavish then you can treat yourself. It's pretty standard what they sell, I got a small dessert, but paid alot to get couple extra toppings and slush was very basic with alot of ice. Try it see if you like, but not worth it
Such an authentic experience!!! So much to choose from....we opted for the cold fruity milky version..was perfect with the pretzel sticks further down:
