Great emergency vets. Really admire that they stay open 24/7 for 365 days of the year. The staff work hard at keeping our beloved pets safe. And was so friendly when I had to take my husky in for an emergency appointment on Sunday. They managed to get me an appointment within 2 hours. Can tell they genuinely care about the animals and aren't just all about the money. Highly recommend.
The consultant nurse Jen is the most wonderful asset this vets has to offer. She takes nervous large breed dogs in her stride and honestly makes the owners feel as important as her patients. She’s got such a friendly disposition and her knowledge and capabilities make what can be an already stressful situation so much easier. We are lucky to always try book in when she’s there as we know our dog will be in the best hands with her.
Extremely grateful for everything. Had to have my Rex pts tonight. From the initial call for emergency appt, the appt itself and the aftercare arrangements - all staff where amazingly kind. My heads gone so I can't remember names but to the 2 women out front and to the Dr who seen to us I can't thank you enough for the kindness and compassion you showed. I sincerely hope to never go through that again but honestly you all made it as bareable as it could have been. Thank you.
Our 3 year old Dobermann was hit by a car doing almost 50mph and left for dead. We rushed him to their out of hours practice and he was seen to immediately. The vet was very caring and thoroughly checked him over and gave him a thorough ultrasound check. Luckily he had no serious injuries. We took him back to the Crosby vets a week later and again the vet was lovely. We would highly recommend using Medivet.
We recently had to take our little Bella to this vets. I’d like to thank Lucy and Cara for taking good care of my little girl before she was put to sleep. I’ll always remember their kindness to me and my boyfriend during that hard time, but most of all their care and love for my Bella x
Saved our Cats life Chang working over New Years Eve to operate on him and remove a tumour. Whilst the outlook for Chang may not look good we are so thankful to the magnificent vet's and team here that have provided us and Chang a little more time to spend together. Thankyou very Much Medivet Alder.
I cannot give 0 stars unfortunately. I brought my 2 weeks puppy there as we mistaken with the feeding and we over feed it. These people on emergency, instead of offer me to keep the puppy over night in hospital, they told me he is OK, so they charged me £214 and next morning my puppy was dead. Thanks medivet.
After the pdsa messed up my dog’s emergency C section medivet who had no involvement in the operation took my dog in to make sure she was okay after the pdsa said it was normal for her to be pouring with blood. Turns out she had internal bleeding and without medivet I wouldn’t have my dog. They saved her life on Christmas Day, no words can describe how greatful I am.
Staff very friendly and helped my dog walk up the steps to the practice. He is very old and had breathing problems. I highly recommend this practice.
Absolutely amazing, caring, compassionate vets. We use this practise as our emergency vets. Sometimes in the middle of the night we panic over the smallest of symptoms. Every time we’ve called the staff are friendly, caring and reassuring. Each time we visit we receive the very best care. We travel all the way from Warrington to use this vets and we will continue to use them forevermore.
