What a great place! We happened to be near Masonville Mall and stopped in for a meal. It was top drawer! We bought spices, chocolate and falafel to go. The bakery is super clean, staff were delightful.Food: 5/5
Just went in waited over 30mins, 0 progress on my food. It was not that busy. Didn't cook the chicken at all. I fact burnt a huge part of the rotisserie since they were not monoriting it and it was not spinning. Asked for a refund and was refused. Never coming here again. Used to be amazing. New staff is lost in the woods.Food: 1/5
When looking for excellent Lebanese or Mediterranean food in London, there are so many options. We decided to try out Beladi's while in the area. At first sight after entering, it's quite nice and clean. Staff are friendly and this place has clean washrooms which is great of course. They even have a little grocery section which is an added bonus. My issue was the manakeesh. The quality vs competitors just wasn't there. The pita was very thin, small and not very filling vs other places. The soup here was excellent which was a nice contrast to the manakeesh. I've tried eating here twice and felt the same both times. The atmosphere, staff and service is very good though, which definitely doesn't go unnoticed. 3/5. Follow me for more reviews, tips and photos.
Two girl friends and I went in for lunch today and there was probably 1 person waiting for the take-out food. The girl who took our orders didn’t really seem to be there but, we didn’t care much. We waited at least 35-40mins to have our wraps. We only ordered two wraps and one salad bowl. When I was peeking over the kitchen the girl told me “Please wait.” with her frustration. Instead of I am sorry we are getting a little behind. She didn’t seem to care about ppl waiting. People were getting frustrated bc it is supposed to be quick enough for lunch time and they don’t even seem to care wasting customers’ time. I used to love this place but, it is for sure going down hill. If I were the owner of this place, I will definitely rethink about their staffs.
Easily in the conversation for best shawarma in London. I picked up a chicken shawarma bowl with seasoned chick peas. Half rice and half salad. It was a generous portion size for lunch so make sure you’re hungry. The rice was cooked well though and the salad ingredients were fresh. Aside from Shawarma, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You know they understand quality as soon as you walk in the restaurant. I’ve been here before today and will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
Overpriced. Food was okayish, not that great. Chicken was dry. Ambience was good. Most disappointing part was to see that majority of items in store were just straight out of packages.Food: 2/5
First time trying their bakery items, it was delicious! Went for a pick up, staff were friendly, items were well packaged. The meats were awesome! I found the lentil soup a bit salty for my taste, other than that, no complaints! I'll definitely have to try their bowls and platters next time. I highly recommend getting their daily fresh knefe, it's so good. You can keep in fridge, then when you're ready to eat, simply microwave for a few seconds so it gets soft again then pour some of their sweet syrup on top and, it was something I had to finish in one sitting. Delicious
A few weeks ago I ordered the chicken bowl with the rice, fried cauliflower which comes with veggies and guy asked me if I wanted the spicy dressing which was actually mild so not overly spicy anyways it was ong delicious along with a huge portion. This was around dinner time when I ordered it. Today around 1:30 I order the same and the guy forgot to put in the chicken and there really wasn’t much a flavour. No spicy dressing, not sure if I’m supposed to ask for it or it come with it. I was very disappointed! I couldn’t return it as I picked it up to have for today and day later and am not close to home. The guy was on his cell phone when I ordered then he later kept texting maybe why he forgot to put in the chicken. I’m fine if they’re on the phone but don’t get the order wrong.
Terrible staffs. They did not care about customers. The food took way too long to come out, and despite so many people waiting, they acted like it was completely normal and didn’t seem to care at all.Food: 1/5
