Story

Welcome to Dee Light Bakery, an interactive cafe and bakery on Ritherdon Road, Balham in London UK.

We bake bread and gluten-free produce, cakes and pastries on site every day and teach classes in cake decorating and baking for all ages and abilities.

Our celebration cakes are designed and made for all occasions including Birthdays, Anniversaries, Bar mitzvah's, Christenings, Valentines, Mothers day, Easter, Christmas - the list is endless.

We are a child-friendly cafe with a buggy park and kids play area and we also supply high quality wholesale bakery products for other businesses.

Open seven days a week, we serve delicious freshly ground coffee and fresh produce from our on site bakery. Pick up a loaf or a take away coffee, watch our bakers at work in our open plan cafe, or book one of our classes and have a go yourself!

Friendly staff and tasty bits to eat inside. When not in the pandemic there is also a nice kids play area and even a hosted baki g party area. Great community deli.

Had a custom made cake produced for a birthday 2 days notice and ended up going for a chocolate fudge cake because it looked the tastiest when looking in store. It was phenomenal! It was decorated amazingly also which definitively added a professional but handmade touch. Thank you very much :D

Excellent service and tasty bakery goods. I went here as they are part of TOOGOODTOGO campaign. That means food instead of going to waste gets sold to people at a discount. They gave me so much for such a mere price. Would defined go here again.

Really nice cafe, the food is so nice.. and the staff are all really good. But the coffees are sometimes lukewarm.. but still tasty

Worth the trek from the less posh side of Tooting to get their bread and croissants, the best you'll find in this neck of the woods. And if you can afford to live in the posher side of Tooting, we'll that's just a bonus. Friendly staff too
