I have just had a back tooth removed. It was amazing! It took hardly any time for the extraction and the after care advice was very helpful. I had almost no pain when the anaesthetic wore off. I am following the dentist’s instructions carefully as the tooth extraction did not touch my sinuses. This is the first time that I have had such a pleasant tooth extraction! I did not need to worry!
I have been with this practice for many years. The receptionist team are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The treatment I receive is always carried out in a professional, caring manner and is explained prior to treatment. The staff all compliment one another and make a very professional team. I would definitely recommend this practice.
I’ve been a patient for many years and I’ve had uniformly good treatment from the hygienists and dentist in that time. My teeth and gum health have improved steadily. The staff are all very professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Medika Dental Practice is truly outstanding in every way. The service is faultless. The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly and will support you in any way they can. Every hygienist I have seen has been knowledgeable and keen to teach and educate good practice as well as highlight what I am doing right. Both dentists, Majid and Nasteran, are both clearly passionate about what they do, providing clear explanation of their findings and suggested options for any treatment as well as being very approachable. I have never felt in safer hands and I cannot recommend highly enough
Team MediKa Dental is an excellent Dental Practice. From Reception through to Check up through to Hygenist through to Dental Treatment is always carried out professionally and with the Patient at the very heart of great care and positive outcome. Always met by every member of the MediKa team with a friendly smile, sound advice and personal acknowledgement, I always feel safe and reassured in their care.
The team are professional, friendly and kind including the reception staff and the hygienists. I have made regular visits to the surgery over the years and it’s always been a positive experience.
I am really rather squeamish about fillings and was not at all looking forward to having one done in March. However, I was given an excellent local anaesthetic and the filling wasn't started until I was confident that all relevant parts of my mouth were properly numbed. It was a pain free experience and, with Classic FM playing in the background, almost pleasant!
I moved to Southsea in 2019 & was looking for a new dentist. I'm so glad my sister-in-law recommended Medika Dental. I am a nervous patient & both Naz & her husband put me at ease whilst in the Dental chair. I can honestly say they are the best dentists I've ever had. They are so caring & professional. The receptionists are lovely
