We came to the Meadows for our Christmas meal. We didn’t know what to expect but to be honest, as a fussy eater, the food was lovely It was cooked to perfection, all 3 courses were just lovely and really generous portions. Some guests who was sat near us were really rude, but obviously they didn’t get “manners” as a Christmas present! The landlord and staff were run of their feet, but they were still very accommodating. I would definitely go there again for our Christmas dinner, all the way from Cumbria 😁 (The ONLY negative... the toilets are not the most pleasant... could do with a lick of paint and upgrading)

Such a shame I am giving this pub 1 star. One year ago it would have been 5. Timing between mine and my friends food coming was far too long (approx. 25 mins). Complained to staff who said we should have ordered together even though we were next to each other in the queue, and restaurant appeared quiet with only 3 other tables of 4 present. My burger came out incorrect with sauce and salad - even though I had ordered without. Sent it back and they re-used the same burger (which was now cold) and scraped the sauce and salad off the bun. They have shut the normal men’s toilets and opened one that is disgusting, in disrepair and had a large pool of “something” on the floor, toilets stank in bar area. I left straight after, won’t be going back.

Wow! Generous portions for very tasty food at an affordable price. Pity about the lack of Real Ales available. Apparently no one available to change the Greene King IPA barrel. Plenty of parking and friendly, helpful staff. We'll be visiting again I'm sure.

Very nice meal with brilliant staff waiting on you, only hiccup was having to wait a bit longer than expected but it was understandable for the day it was mother's day.

Went for mothers day lunch there were 8 of us and not one person could complain customer service excellent, food fabulous.
