Don’t judge a book by its cover they say. Been here a few times now and it doesn’t disappoint. Upstairs has been a gig venue and pop up restaurant in times past and the live music is always decent quality. Prices are cheap and it’s rarely quiet. Great location beside Queens Park station too if your going to or from Hampden
Loved our private group dinner experience. Amazing authentic Scottish food meets modern gastronomy, and ending with an intimate guitar & fiddle live music. Highly recommend for tourists and locals.
Went in on a Tuesday night, there was traditional live music on and really enjoyed the vibe. Warm and welcoming and decent with decent Guinness and prices....Service: 5/5

Best kept secret, it's a local boozer, brilliant craic, staff are great, It's really busy!!! REALLY BUSY. Live/DJ House music Wed till Sunday, Take a walk on the wild side. Bring your guitar . Or any instrument or just bring your voice. Sunday's are singalong with Kenny, Worth a punt Wheelchair accessibility: Just barge on in, the staff are accommodating if they see you coming through the door.
We were upstairs on a night there was an amazing band playing. The band were called scaramanga. Great atmosphere. Great service from the bar, reasonable prices for drinks. A super fun night was had by all. Will definitely be back

Great place for a pint on the Southside. Cheap, atmosphere is always good plus the staff and locals are friendly. My chess club meets in the upstairs bit on Monday nights, it seems they have a lot of other things going on up there too.
Auld man meets hipster in this diamond in the mud, legendary bar!
