Story

Don't be fooled by appearances. Armstrong's may look small from the outside, but step through the front door and it keeps on going: beyond the homely tables and chairs is a grand, high-ceilinged bar overlooked by a mezzanine level suitable for private parties - and that's before you've reached the spacious wing with two pool tables, 11 Tvs and a large 4k Big screen, 2 Sky HD boxes and BT sports showing all the games or the beer garden with its own TV, heaters and picnic benches. It means there's ample room in this friendly community bar that's as popular with locals - whether they be Langside College students or nurses from the Victoria Infirmary - as it is with football fans and concert-goers en route to nearby Hampden Park stadium.

Great wee pub! One of the best in the southside. Jackie and Brooke especially are great behind the bar, great patter. And a cracking pint of Guinness. Even dog friendly during the day which is a big plusFood: 5/5
Me and my brother live locally and come here all the time, quite a small and unassuming front but loads of space inside and full of screens for sport with private booths. Also has 2 pool tables and free pool on a Thursday. They have a great sized beer garden in the back also with outdoor screens so you don’t have to miss the footy. Excellent spread of draught pints. Staff are all well sound and always up for a chat.
Great pub ,visited it years ago . Glad I revisited friendly and efficient staff . Beer garden available. And icebreaker pale ale on draft, another great visit ,staff doing well
Proper pub with a nice beer garden. Lovely staff, and a nice selection of beers. Jackie is an absolute sweetheart and really looks after the place. Loads of screens. Well maintained pool tables. Overall lovely atmosphere. A favourite for locals. I couldn't recommend it enough.

I was in Armstrongs on Saturday 29th June just before pink , all staff was great very friendly bar is kept well. atmosphere was good aswell , but a big thanks to Jackie making my night better , Jackie served me and my family all night giving us suggestions on what to have as an alternative, also enjoyed a venom on JackieService: 5/5

Staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. Our dog loves the dog friendly atmosphere and is welcomed with hugs and treats. The best local pub in Glasgow with a great outside space when the sun shines.Service: 5/5
