Amazing as always. Sat outside as it was a nice day. Indoor was lovely and cosy when we popped inside later on. Love this placeFood: 5/5
First time visiting church on the hill on Saturday to watch the Scotland wales rugby game and it did not disappoint. Considering how busy the place was, it still had a very welcoming atmosphere, especially for people who are not locals! …and its dog friendly, what’s not to love?! We were served at the bar straight away and shortly after managed to find a seat to relax and watch the game. Everyone was so friendly and in such good spirits, not to mention the bar and kitchen were still doing table service which was super fast so we didn’t have to move! Staff were polite and made sure we were sorted throughout the day/night. We tried some of the Scottish tapas and it was absolutely delicious! Just the kind of nibble you need when out for drinks with friends. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. We stayed until late and also got to hear some of the live music that was on which was really good! I will most definitely be back with friends and family to enjoy more of what this venue has to offer. Ticks all the boxes for me! Ps I loved the interior. It gave off a very clean and cozy yet stylish vibe. 10/10. Thank you :
Love this institution in the Southside of Glasgow. The space inside changed recently and the restaurant feels more cosy separated from the busy bar. They have a new-ish tapas menu and it is great, some really tasty dishes great for sharing! 3 tapas for £15. Service is nice and friendly.Food: 4/5
Fun pub with great vibes and food. Came for drinks and dinner, and I got chunky chips with garlic mayo, deep fried lasagna bites, and the cauliflower. I had one of my friend's onion rings as well which was delicious but sadly they ran out and i couldn't get them as well. There's loads of outside and inside seating, and the staff are all very friendly. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options
Popped in for a bite to eat with a friend for a catch up, absolutely amazing! Amber served us, she was fantastic, super attentive, bubbly & fun! I ordered the 3 tapas deal, food was excellent, & really fair priced Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Came here for some dinner for my birthday, had a great time. Food was lovely and was served in good time. Cocktails were really nice and a good selection on the menu. Service was great, Sam was our waiter and he was very kind and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back soon!Food: 5/5
The roast is incredibly over priced - had better at a Toby carvery. I’m pretty sure the Yorkshire puddings were aunt bessies. Very small portion and hungry after - £18.50 is a rip off it’s more like a £10-12 roast. I would strongly suggest to not go for a roast here. It’s a shame because the venue is quite nice as well as the service.Food: 1/5
Love the Scottish Tapas here! Right good pub food and so many to chose from at a great price. Great choice of pints and pretty nice seating that’s comfy, spacious and is always clean whenever I go. The multiple massive screens on each wall are a bit unpleasant, and kinda ruin the vibe but I guess they’re great for sports watchers. They’re just not for me.
Fantastic atmosphere and food. Unfortunately there was a serious issue with our food but the staff responded incredibly well. Replacement orders were no issue and everything possible to sort it out was done. My kids are 8 and 9 and even the commented on how nice the staff is. They are keen to go back - as am I.Food: 3/5
The first time I have been to Church on the Hill and I will be returning. A modern bar with fabulous exterior, spotless inside, the staff were great and its dog friendly. We got two sandwiches and 2 drinks 1 alcohol and the bill came to £35 which I thought was a bit a much however the food was decent enough and wouldn't put me off coming back.
