It's always a friendly atmosphere. Staff are willing to help anyone and go above and beyond. Strong teamwork. Customer best interest at heart. Food is much improved from when I was younger. :)

I mean, it's maccies 🤷🏻‍♂️ but seriously out of all the chains I've been to this is the cleanest and nicest around where I live. I prefer to drive the extra mile to go here than in the town centre

I know it seems fairly ridiculous to criticise the inevitable horror that is McDonald's, but only visiting because of desperation, good grief this was inedible. The fancy new chicken sandwich, the Chicken Legend, proved to be a slimy slab of thinly breaded chicken in dry dreary bread, with wet lettuce. That was literally it! You got to pick a sauce, which was apparently titrated onto the sandwich in a laugh-out-loud tiny proportion. It looked as bad as it tasted. This was accompanied by those distinctive McDonald's fries, a translucent-pale sleeve of potato slush. It's impressive that competition from grown up burger chains hasn't caused McDs to even try to up their game, but rather seemingly double down on the horror.

Like all Maccas restaurants, however there is a lady who keeps the place all nice and clean, has a chat and makes the place feel more than just a typical fast food restaurant.

Your typical McDoald's drive-thru. It can be difficult to get out of the car park onto Wilden Lane at busy times.
