One of my favourite restaurants. Ambiance is very nice with incredibly loud music piped in to take your mind off the massive calorie count. Great seating with other members of the haute cuisine community enjoying their meals whilst pandering to bizarrely named kids who enjoy riding electric scooters in the aisles and generally putting me off my flat coke.nSurroundings are lovely with a beautiful view of Starbucks and the Leicester Ring road in all its Autumnal glory. Highly recommended and the staff are nice albeit unintelligible on the speaker and you have to put your faith in telepathy when ordering over the noise of the person behind you dropping bass so every one looks at his lowered Peugeot 108 and his 14yr old missus.
Very busy but didn't have to wait to long to get to an ordering point. Chose table service and food was brought out and presented to us by a lovely lady with a smile. Our tray was then cleared away by a different lady with a lovely smile. The food was hot and freshly cooked, the chips were still straight and not sagging over. We were happy with our last minute decision to stop in and have a cheeky McDonald's.
The burger was good, I'm not sure that there is service at Mackers, I tapped a screen then paid by contactless card and grabbed it bag of food and drinks when out number was called. It all works like clockwork. It is like having lunch in a crowded playground though.
How sad! BE AWARE YOU ONLY HAVE 90 MINUTES TO PARK AT THIS RESTAURANT! My friend & I stayed chatting, catching up eating & drinking for 235 Minutes! Had a great time UNTIL £100 Parking Fine. Neither Head Office or Restaurant Prepared to do anything. As when you park IN THE RESTAURANTS CAR PARK YOU SHOULD CHECK HOW LONG THEY ALLOW YOU TO STAY ‍ Guess my money will go elsewhere
Disgusted and extremely let down.nnBefore the renovation this was well known for being the best McDonald's around. Formerly well known for exceptional hot fast food. Not anymore. Freezing chips in paper. Mcflurry not mixed Awful unclear drive thru noise rather than speech. Disgusting rude service when I asked for £5 meal deal. Told it was on weeks ago not now. Came out the drive through greeted by this enormous sign advertising said deal. Looked down on for asking eyes rolling the works.! If I caught the name of my server I'd take the complaint much further I was that let down and disappointed. Will not be back. Strongly advise no one else wastes their time here.
