Nice clean room, smelled fresh. Large bed, good shower. Breakfast is in different building but not a problem, maybe if raining heavily might be issue. No facilities like gym or pool but good value and good location if you have car as near motorway and perfect for visiting Leicester.
This five‑star rating is given with the understanding that it’s a Premier Inn, not a five‑star luxury hotel. The stay delivered exactly what you’d expect: plenty of free parking, clean and comfortable basic rooms, and friendly, welcoming staff. A reliable and straightforward place to stay.
Arrived and greeted nicely was giving my room key and pointed in general direction to my room opened my door and the smell of damp hits you like a freight train all then general stuff was there 2 sachets of coffee and a few milk cups bed was made and looked ok lift up the quilt and pillows hair you got it pubes not to worry not bothered shake it off get to sleep slept well went for breakfast stone cold egg, bacon still alive and cold infact the hot plate was a wate of time so if you want a hot full english in the morning forget it dont. Then back for dinner pint of coke £4.10 and a burger really hard bun slice of green stuff? Cheese, 5 chips and a smudge of coleslaw awful taste again next day the same not just a one off so if I was booking somewhere I wouldn't book here again
The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star was the mattress. It either needs turning or replacing. I slept upside down in the end. As a frequent Premier Inn patron this is my first time of an uncomfortable night.nnThe food and staff at the Observatory pub linked to it were lovely, as were the hotel staff.nnThe room was clean, and well kitted out xxx
Stayed here on 5th October. Location is a good place to stay near fosse parks. And lots of places to eat round there. Had a couple of drinks in the bar Nadine served us was a nice girl and very helpful . The restaurant has a good choice of food. Breakfast is very good.
