Shocking service received here. Waited over 15 minutes for my food. Was served cold chips that tasted like they were reheated. My burger was not that much better. The restaurant itself was disgusting. Tables with rubbish left on them, bins overflowing. The joke is I was the only one in there as it was 145am. Staff walking around not bothered about the mess. No apologies for the delay in food. Shocking!
I ordered a Vegan meal through the app. I thought it was strange how they told me at the drive through to go in the store to collect it. I haven’t had this experience at McDonald’s before. But other than that it was a good experience.
I visited this McDonald’s recently while travel Cardiff and experienced too rush. No proper space for dining, long waiting for order and delivery. Finding space for car is very long wait.nTh food quality was fine, just typical McDonald’s fare, but the service needs improvement.
Three times I’ve seen the same situation here where there are orders piling out of control, drive thru orders parked everywhere, shop floor full of people waiting up to half an hour. The staff were getting nothing but grief from the frustrated customers and it was painful to watch. It’s easily avoidable, just run it properly. I was given a refund as I couldn’t wait any longer. The staff were lovely but clearly up against it and not for the first time. Management is either entirely incompetent, pocketing reduced staff costs or they simply enjoy their employees suffering a shambles of organisation. Thank you to the staff of this establishment
Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. No matter what you order at the Cyfarthfa Retail Park drive-thru, they always make you park up. Busy, quiet, day, night — it doesn’t matter. You’ll still be sitting there for 20+ minutes while they keep the drive-thru lane looking empty for appearances rather than actually serving customers efficiently. The drive-thru might look quiet, but the car park is absolutely full of people waiting for food.nnTo make it even worse, they never get the order right. Something is always missing or wrong every single time.nnThe app order bays are also a complete joke. They’re constantly filled with Deliveroo and Just Eat drivers, so you can’t even use the bays for their intended purpose. I actually raised a complaint about it and the response I got was: “uhhhhh there’s nuffin we can do.” Not exactly inspiring confidence in the management.nnWe avoid this branch completely now and use the Rhydycar McDonald’s instead — and when that one was closed for refurbishment, we drove miles out of our way to Cwmgwrach just to avoid Cyfarthfa.nnAvoid like the plague.
