Had a great experience in Gorden Ramsay bar and grill. Beef wellington was marvellous. Service was quick. All the staff including Mr Khalid was very friendly and helpful. We stayed more than 2 hours .like some other restaurants no one came to remind the time limit . Me and my wife absolutely loved the experience. We will go back again.
Thanks to Angie’s excellent service, we were able to celebrate a memorable birthday. While the Beef Wellington might not be for everyone, understanding the Duke of Wellington's intent to hide the meat makes it all the more enjoyable when you take a bite. The meantime beer we had alongside was delicious, perfectly complementing the meal. The Waldorf salad and mac and cheese rounded out the evening, making it a truly satisfying and delightful dinner.
It was my partner's birthday, and we wanted to celebrate. I had mentioned this when making the reservation, but unfortunately, nothing special was done to acknowledge it. I had high expectations for Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, but I was a bit disappointed. The starter was basic, despite the waiter claiming it was amazing. On a positive note, the meat was excellent for both of us. However, we were disappointed with the sides. We usually love creamy spinach, but this time it wasn’t chopped, making it difficult and chewy to eat. The mac & cheese was also just basic—nothing exceptional. The service was okay, but not outstanding. The waiter tried to be friendly and made jokes, but it came off as a bit awkward. One of the waiters serving us even swallowed his mucus, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, although we placed our aperitif glasses to be cleared, none of the waiters took them, even though they were clearing our plates and everything else. It was a shame also a lot of the nice dish showing from the Instagram were no longer on the menu. On the positive side, the portions were generous, and we ate well in that regard. However, overall, we were a bit disappointed with the experience and the lack of attention to detail, especially for the birthday. We'd love to try next time the beef wellington, though.
Loved our experience! It was so lovely we came for our third year anniversary and BT and Abdul made it super special! So attentive and friendly, they really made us feel welcome. The food was exquisite and cooked to perfection! The cocktails!! We just had one after another, they were that great. The only disappointment was we didn’t get to meet chef Ramsey himself! Watched him since Hell’s Kitchen and followed him through to kitchen nightmares!
Great service and food. The music is a bit too loud. Wellington Steak too around 50min, we finished within 10min The beef is cook just right, not too well not too rare, a bit juicy and pinky. The spinach truffle gratin is the best to have with steak, def love it!Food: 5/5
Service was great. The music was way too high, and that completely ruined the setting for me. I was there alone, I can't even imagine how it must have felt if I had to communicate with someone.. Had the roasted lamb rump with peas and bean fricassee.. the lamb tasted amazing. The full dish wasn't exactly my cup of tea - it wasn't bad. Just didn't work for me and my taste buds apparently. Had the spinach and truffle gratin on the side. A bit too big of a portion for just one, when ordering a side. But it tasted really nice and was a fine addition to the lamb. For drinks I had a cocktail for starters and a coke for later.. A total of 77£ and I tipped to 85.. I'm not sure I'd necessarily come back unless something comes to the menu that I just HAVE to taste for example. But it was an okay experience, trying it out. Kid-friendliness: A menu for the kids, didn't look very much, just noticed.
My husband and I love this place. BT was our server and he was amazing. The whole staff made us feel so comfortable and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. We didn't get to see Gordon himself, but he would be so proud of the way his restaurant is run. We had the Beef Wellington and it was all we imagined it would be! If you are able, we highly recommend you go! Thank you for a great experience to the whole staff!

But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible service, especially from Angie, one of the standout waitresses. Every dish is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
My recent dining experience at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Mayfair was nothing short of extraordinary. The passion and skill of the kitchen staff were evident in every bite. The evening was made even more memorable by the warm hospitality. The General Manager personally greeted us, making us feel incredibly welcome. We were also fortunate enough to meet the hardworking chefs in the kitchen, which was a true highlight. Their dedication to crafting such delicious food was inspiring. A special shoutout to Josep, who recommended some of the most incredible dishes of the night and made sure we indulged in their heavenly desserts. Each sweet treat was the perfect conclusion to a flawless meal. Overall, dining at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill - Mayfair was an unforgettable experience. The combination of exceptional food, top-notch service, and the chance to meet the culinary team made it a night to remember. I can't wait to return!
This was the best experience ever. The food was amazing, the service was amazing. We had a table next to the kitchen. Lovely to have a little backstage view… My compliments to all of the staff, in and outside the kitchen. BT made our evening even better! We all need a BT in our life… 10/10 recommend!!!! This restaurant is worth a visit. I think I’m going to dream about the Beef Wellington tonight.
