The staff here are FANTASTIC. I broke my partners favourite table lamp and thought it was beyond repair but I called in on the off chance. Everyone I met went over and beyond and treated me as if was about to spend £ thousands. I left the lamp with them and returned a couple of hours later to find they had managed to fix it,and wouldn't take any payment. In this day and age to find such fantastic customer care is unique. Head office please take note,you have fantastic staff
Good experience, went for kitchen worktop items, found staff to be very helpful. Not the range of products that the national chains carry but most DIY requirements carried. For their what appeared to be their main market a wider choice available than the chains

First visit and very impressed. Made use of cutting service and amazed at price and speed of service. Didn't take the opportunity to view all products on sale due to my time constraints, but will make time at next visit.
Maxwells DIY Stores: unbelievable been trying for ages to gain access to Maxwells DIY online. I gave up, rang store to see if there was a problem with the website. Apparently Maxwells do not offer the use of a website now. How ludicrous is that? After wasting my time I accessed B & Q website found what I wanted placed my order. How to lose business - contact Maxwells!!!!
First class service. Had a big a job and loads of cuts. No messing. Cut timber to perfection
Good first- stop shop for essential stuff. Staff are great .
Nice large store with plenty of stock. Was a bit disappointed at the selection of basin taps, only 2 to choose from so I had to go elsewhere. Other than that though it was great.
Very helpful staff, and a cutting service for timber too!!
