Morrisons has been the best thing to come to Birtley in years. The store itself is spacious and very clean. Being Morrisons there is a great variety of merchandise plus a small section of family clothing. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping here and of course the cafe is a big pull although I think it's time to change the menu. There is more than ample car parking and all under cover with good access to the store via stairs, lift, and escalator. My only criticism is that as you approach the store from the main street there is a lot of rubbish which detracts from the store.

I shop here all the time and found the shopping experience quite a pleasant surprise indeed.. Prices proves to be in exact range.. Staff help any time you require them.. Top job..

Birtley Morrison's is my favourite store. Bright and spotless, really nice staff. The guys and ladies on the checkouts are smashing . 10/10
