Max Cars

Needed a cab quickly. Everywhere else I called, they were either booked up or not answering. Max cabs responded promptly, had the cab over in a few minutes and the driver got me to my destination from an alternate route the main route was completely blocked with traffic really quickly. The service was fast, efficient and very inexpensive.

We have used max taxi for the past 12 years, they are the most punctual and least expensive we have found, never failed to turn up and the drivers are helpful to a fault. Have just downloaded the app and 78 years old I didn't find it to difficult to manoeuvre. There is simply no down side to max.

Requested a cab for a drop off and pick up and both times Max Cabs had sent the drivers on time. Also, had to reroute and Max Cabs were happy to accommodate the change. I have found them to be quite reliable when using their service.

Absolute joke of a firm. Worst taxi service ever. They are more than happy to keep you waiting in the freezing cold for a taxi you've already paid for. The driver is always "10 minutes away" but they never turn up. The staff in the call centre are rude and can not wait to get you off the phone when you call asking for an update. Avoid these jokers at all costs. Don't waste your time.

Booked taxi from home rossendale to Manchester Piccadilly station. Arrived on time and immediately the driver was very helpful with my luggage. Driver was very polite and pleasant. We arrived at my destination safely and within my timeframe even though the traffic in Manchester was bad. Overall my journey was most enjoyable. I will definitely use again and recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Normally use Max cabs. Never again now. Terrible service. You have to pay a £1 just to add your bank card to your wallet, which isn't reimbursed.Why? Booked a taxi last night at 1.10 said theyd be 20 minutes. Kept ringing as didn't show. Rang at 2.00 and he said he'd be there in 20 minutes?! An hour and 10 minutes for a taxi. Why lie and keep telling me the drivers 10 minutes away? Booked an uber and it arrived in 3 minutes. Used them last Friday too. Booked a taxi for 6.45, driver turned up at 6.30 and said he was outside. Said I'd be ready at the time I booked for. He hung up and drove off. Had to book another taxi. Driver flapped about with his phone getting notifications while driving over the speed limit, swerving between lanes on the dual carriageway and having a close call with another driver on the roundabout near Wilfrid's. The driver was a good guy, I don't have a very good impression of the way he was treated by one of the phone operators; "WHAT TIME? WHAT TIME? WHAT TIME?" I don't think the driver wanted to go quickly, but the phone operator seemed to not care for the driver in the slightest. Only one source to blame, management. You are putting your drivers, other drivers and your customers in danger. If the driver is punished, you took away the wrong message, you are the problem, not him.

We booked a taxi to collect from the opera house Manchester and bring us back to Gt Harwood, I can fault them on nothing good price, good communication, on time and good pleasant driver. I would definitely recommend them and definitely use them again.

I had to wait one hour to pick me up even though it was booked a week ago.When the driver came, he didn’t have the decency to help out with the cases in the car, he told me to do it myself. No contact made by the driver until 5 minutes away and the customer service was non existent. Not a great company to deal with if you need to be somewhere on time.
