Good selection of clothes & homewares. Not sure I like the self checkout though, would rather a person employed to do it. Staff helpful!
Ordered click and collect on 15 April 2022, account debited straight away, informed of a delivery date 18 April 2022. No help from store or customer service, eventually parcel turned up after being lost 15 May. Don't use click and collect they don't stick to their delivery dates and customer service is bloody useless.
Yesterday I rang to enquire at my local Matalan store of one of their products. The lady I spoke with was most helpful and went to check how many available products were in store. The following day I visited the store and purchased eight Chicago porcelain dinner plates. The plates were of a very good quality and for the price of £3.50 each were an incredible bargain. The lady who wrapped them was also extremely helpful, it was good to see her colleague helping her & giving her good advice. Team work, excellent service indeed, many Thanks to all the staff!!
Nice deal to buy home stuff.
Had some vouchers to spend that we were given for Christmas 2017 so bought my husband a couple new tops one sweatshirt style and a jumper. Picked up some place settings that were reduced. Pleased with my purchases as they all had discounts. Great staff.
A fairly large store located on a retail estate at the edge of town containing most of the ranges on offer from Matalan. Friendly staff, reasonably accessible aisles, and generally well stocked. Good free car parking facilities directly outside, that also supports a number of other shopping facilities. The till structure has been reduced to make room for more in-store sales area, which can lead to longer queues and the only reason for my four star grading. Worth a visit.
Not impressed with the company in general due to awful customer service can't get hold of anyone and in store staff unable to help not their fault. Clothes and items are as average as always but the head office need to sort themselves out. Refuse to shop woth them anymore.
Easy to park. Its free too. Store had a refurb and looks great. Walked in to a cheery good morning from the store manager and staff. Very welcoming. Store looks great. I wanted the mens bit and was helped by one of the team members with my selections. All in all very happy, clean and tidy with no packaging to dodge around like some shops ive been in
Well I haven't been in to Matalan for a number of years, so popping in today was a first in a very long time and of course I didn't have my card on me but that was okay my details remained on the computer system from when it first opened. I managed to get a few things that I needed at sale prices which was a bargain, I was so tempted to buy buy buy but I had a budget and that's what I kept to. The toilet facilities for customers was very basic and ideally could do with some freshening up with decorating as there's rusty chipped paint and dampness, a toilet handle that is a bit odd to flush, quite unclean, lacking of toilet roll, a unisex/ disabled toilet x1. The shop floor was spacious in the walkways with room for wheelchair users, mobility scooters, single and double sized buggies, though I was in during what I would class as a quite period as my friend and me had 1 if not 2 isles to ourselves. A lovely range of clothes for all ages, male and female though I might not extend that to Older O.A.P's. Also a large variety of light furnishings to suitcase bath and bed sets. The staff were very happy, chatty, polite and helpful. Thank you Matalan.
