I travelled 30 miles to buy a velvet dress which was shown on line to be available in store. Neither I or a very helpful member of staff who came and offered assistance could find the dress. She contacted the changing rooms- with no luck. She did not give up at this point but finally tracked down the item in the stock room. At checkout I discovered she was the manager. What excellent service and a super smiling role model to the staff of the store. Thank you so much. the dress is great!
Appallingly bad cafe. Voucher for free hot cross bun didn’t scan…eventually staff conceded that it should have. Asked if we wanted it toasted they then proceeded to microwave it!!! No large mugs we’d paid for large drinks so told we could have a refill of the smaller ones! Then sat down to find one member of staff very noisily unloading plates right next to the filthy area next to us and muttering to herself about how much she hated her job! Unbelievable - basil fawlty could learn a thing or two from this place. Won’t be back . Ever,
Busy but calm. Very obliging staff. Lots of tempting stuff on offer. One of our party needed to borrow a wheelchair inside. No problem. One was brought in 5 mins.nNice coffee and tea in café.
Beside the actual store which is fine the cafe is different to point of disappointment.nThe service is great and the staff cleaning up was very attentive, the tea cup we was given was a general for both coffee and tea and rather large which meant that the tea cooled down to quick, I know it was busy but when our teacakes can't out they wasn't really warm enough and hardly melted the butter unlike the picture that was on the counter... Ooh well
Very quick and easy service. Good to see two machines in operation. Teacake was delicious and hot. Friendly staff.
