If it weren't for Marks n Spencers I would find Yeovil town centre to be a sad experience! Reasonably priced and manufactured clothes and homewares, pleasant cafe and fabulous food hall as well as polite staff make it a genuine pleasure to go shopping in a civilised atmosphere.... something which is disappearing for the UK high street....and something which several PMs are responsible for.
A good store with excellent food hall. Clothing wise I'm not sure what age group they are selling to any more. I think they have lost their way
The conduct of the cafe staff was highly unprofessional. A member of the service team created a significant disturbance rather than offering a courteous reminder regarding an uncommunicated in-house policy upon our seating with coffees. Her demeanor was loud and unprofessional, drawing the attention of other patrons. When we addressed her behavior as rude and unprofessional, she escalated the situation by involving a manager. While the manager offered an apology, the incident significantly detracted from our post-shopping experience. Consequently, we will not be returning to this establishment, given the availability of numerous alternative venues.
The food hall is one of the most dangerous places to visit. Went in for a loaf of bread, came out having spent almost £100 on ready meals and goodies for the week. Amazing variety of mouth watering stuff. It ain't cheap though.
We shop in M&S yeovil a lot.Good quality clothing and they have improved the designs over the last couple of years.The food hall is great.Good quality products a bit more expensive than other stores but you get what you pay for with better tasting food.Definitely well worth a visit.
