An excellent meat. Four of us, all had something different and all had a great meal. Timothy Taylor's beer was as good as it gets. Well done.
Stopped for a few pints after a walk. Place is not only dog friendly but super friendly. Staff were great beer was good but we could only stay for an hour and a half as they were fully booked for diners that evening. That tells you everything. Fantastic pub, great staff, super vibe and definitely a place to visit.
Excellent food, excellent beer. Who needs anything else? Shall be going back next year.
Friendly pub with v good food and beer. I had a good sized medium rare steak with vine tomatoes, mushrooms and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. All was v tasty and well presented. The pint of Tim Taylor’s Landlord was great too I would visit again if I am in the area.
Excellent food, the steak & ale pie delicious, pastry crisp & melt in the mouth & tender beef, plus I also enjoyed the brandy snap with ice cream, superb.

Friendly welcoming pub. Called in for a drink in the afternoon and to escape a downpour! and discovered a new beer....Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker...superb pint. Food menu looked good, so will sample next time
Beautiful place with really nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Stayed overnight, the room was cosy and the food could not be faulted. Definitely coming back.
