This is one of the best fish & chip shops I have been to. I am a regular customer, and I enjoy my food every time I come here. I had my dinner from there today, and it was exactly what I needed!
Warm and friendly place to get fresh and tasty cod and chips. My son always gets the savaloy and chips. Always more than enough chips. In the short time I waited you can see her regular customers are there and also people who have moved out of the area come back. The history behind this shop is undeniable and very endearing. May try a pie next time on my way home from work.
The lady who served me I assume she’s the owner was so lovely and friendly. Their food is really good and there’s lots of options depending on food requirements. Not an issue but they only take cash so make sure you have some when you visit or there’s a cash machine just across the road.
The best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Lovely fish, crispy and non greasy with the option of home made tartare sauce which is absolutely sumptuous Parking: Parking is free and not a problem most of the time.
