Have been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember but enough is enough. They are waaaay overpriced given the quality and the quantity. They're just your typical cheap kebabish/fish bar. They started off as a decent cheap kebab joint but have now even reduced to giving portions which are fit for a 7 year old and are not even fresh cuts. The fish is clearly cooked from frozen and the chips are good but that's the only positive thing I can say putting aside the fake smiles. Better off going elsewhere.

Small portions for the large mixed doner kebab. The staff are not that friendly. Food is OK but nothing special. I was asked by the waiter if I wanted any sauces for my takeaway, my reply was: "Yes, Garlic and chilly" they were the ones who asked and forgot to put them in anyway. Not happy.

Empire has massively gone down hill recently.  Don’t waste your time, energy or money.  Food has become extremely bland and of a  lower quality.  Delivery: We ordered at 20:10 for a delivery today and received it at 21:50. Baring in mind we where informed we would receive it within 45 minutes. We called them twice to confirm if it was being processed, or if our order had been misplaced.  Instead of an apology, we received attitude and annoyance that we had called.

The place is a joke now. Between me and my mate we was spending £2 to £300  a month at this place , not anymore . Delivery service has turned in to an absolute joke, half the time there's always food missing or just got it wrong  , then wait another hour for the rest of the order to come  and then they  think giving a free portion of chips which probably costs them about 30p makes it all alright. They must think they're the only kebab place around . Na I don't think so.

Ordered a chicken shish small, 3 people in front of me, waited 38 minutes to be given a boxes, no question of what salad I wanted. Got the shish home to be completely insulted with 1 small piece tomato, 1 piece cucumber, no lettuce, small portion red cabbage which I don't like and never ask for and the whole thing loaded with onion. Really poor service

I am giving it two stars and not zero as i went here when it first opened and it was perfect, however i went today and the food was cold, tasted like it was sitting there all day and i dont know whats happen to that lovely chilli sauce as it was border line sickening today. really disappointed guys, the 5 people who ate with me, 3 of which are feeling ill. sort it out guys and bring back the good old days when every meal was perfect

Ordered food last night. I asked for rice only as I have alergy to gluten. When i got home there was barley and rice mixed together and I found grey short hair in it. Made me sick. I will never order from them again. Disgusting

I have lived locally for 10 years, used empire for the first 5 then stopped due to their attitude and slow delivery. Went in there today and its such a shame, the prices are outrageous and he even tried to give me a small cod even though i paid for a large  he knew because when i confronted him, he knew he had been caught out . THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE LOST SO MANY LOYAL LOCAL CUSTOMERS! Glad its getting knocked down and turned into flats hopefully a good chippy moves in . harsh review but so fair for the service you guys provide

Ordered 2 chicken and mushroom pies with chips. 1 pie was off and even smelt like dog food. Wife returned pie and it was exchanged, no questions asked. Asking myself how long had it been there and why is there no control over bought in items?  Sorry guys, extremely poor experience from you all !!

I love the food because it's always fresh and the quality is high. Great kebabs and fish and chips. Osman
