I have had a car on finance with Marsh for almost 5 years and only have a few months left on my agreement. During this time, I have found that Marsh have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. I have found them to be rude when I have spoken to them on all occasions bar one. I had to prioritise my bills due to a shortfall in my income one month and couldn't make my finance payment as I had prioritised my rent. I contacted Marsh to explain my situation and the lady I spoke to was really understanding and made a note that I would make a payment the following month as all my previous payments over the last 4 and a half years had been made without problem. Fantastic I thought! However, despite my account with them showing I would be making payment at the end of the month, I received repeated phone calls for payment on a daily basis for a whole month (sometimes 6 or 7 times a day equating to over 150 phone calls in total!) all of which were followed up by voice messages and text messages telling me to call them before 6pm. This is actually harassment as I had already explained the situation but they don't seem to care! The customer service people I have spoken to are rude, threatening and aggressive in their tactics to take payment regardless of your situation. I am surprised Watchdog haven't been involved. I will be paying off my car finance in the next few months and never being a customer of Marsh again!

This company is a joke. We had a car on finance with them was paying monthly then it was involved in an accident with a police car and was written off. Insurance only paid out £3000 so there was still £7000 to pay Marsh. Marsh wanted payment immediately obviously that was not possible they took us to court without evening making the effort to come to an agreement with us. As my husband was getting paid weekly court ruled £75 a week. This was being paid then my husband moved job to a monthly paid job we requested a change to £300 a month and in the meantime cancelled the standing order as it was going to bounce. They took 3 weeks to reply meaning we were 3 weeks in arrears in these 3 weeks they referred it back to the courts without again coming to an agreement with us. Court case was 3 months after we contacted them so in the meantime they lost 3 months worth of money. Court ruled that they were only going to base their judgement on my husbands wages and ruled that £300 was an obscene amount for them to expect us to pay and he ruled in our favor and said we only had to pay £75 a month. Marsh also tried to claim nearly £900 in court costs and work fees from us and the judge laughed in their face and told them he was disgusted in their treatment of us that at no point had we failed to make payments to them and that their harassment and shear disrespect of us was unacceptable. Marsh said they were going to appeal and the judge said unless we don't pay he will not even allow them into the court room. All I can say is they are a bunch of greedy idiots if they had not dragged us through the courts a second time they would have had £300 a month as I was going to use my wages to pay them as well and they would have been paid in 2 years but now they have to wait 7 years to receive full payment and we are not going to make extra payments to clear it quicker as it serves them right for wasting tax payers money.

Been with them for 4 years, never missed a payment and only had to call them to change my address. Very polite and efficient and pro-actively sent me a letter about coming to the end of my term. No issues whatsoever.

The most rude and unhelpful people at a Finance company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Not sympathetic to people situations at all and caused a family member to have a breakdown due to the way the dealt with a situation 🤬

zero stars not possible, they are rude and condescending, they put my elderly ill mother through hell and changed amounts on paperwork, they are scamming cowboys who go straight to court and lie instead of sorting things out with the customer... AVOID AT ALL COSTS, They may be tempting but the interest rates and attitude you have to put up with is so disgusting.... I had a friend who had same problems with them, they wouldnt release the log book after payment, then the repossessed the car and stated he still owed money, this ment he couldnt sell his house for 3 years and his wife left him for another man, so he couldnt sell house and couldnt live after he paid his bills himself each month... he spiralled into depression and killed himself, that all started with marsh!! stay away people, this company are animals, all in one office... girl kirsty and other girl laura are exceptionally rude and ignorent
