I took out a finance agreement with Marsh back in April through the car dealer and a finance broker that I had purchased a car from at the time. Since then it had been a nightmare; from being mislead about the true nature and condition of the vehicles history I had purchased. After giving the dealer the benefit of the doubt to rectify the issues and coming up empty handed, I decided to put in a formal complaint into Marsh Finance rejecting the vehicle. This was no fault of Marsh. I couldn't have asked for a better company to take this on, from the beginning to the end, they took everything completely seriously and did all of the work for me. Contacting the finance broker and liaising back and forth, when the outcome wasn't looking ideal, they managed to get me a full refund from the car purchase and then some. I didn't think this was going to happen and for it to happen in the time frame it did, I am amazed. A big thank you to Thomas and the complaints team for dealing with this and supporting me through this process, a true asset to Marsh Finance.
Without doubt one of if not the worst customer services I have had the mid pleasure of dealing with. If something goes wrong with your finance very very difficult to get a reply . Numerous e mails sent without a response when I did get a response asked for my personal bank details in an e mail letter. Company very good to start with BUT if you fall into any difficulty I.e miss a payment not understanding at all …. Very very poor . All I’ve said evidence based.
Definitely stay away. everything until you get the loan. If you have problems with the place where you bought the car, you are completely alone. they are never on your side and they are not helpful. They delay us for 60 days and they say we still have 56 days to reply. I'm paying the loan for a car I haven't used for 2 months. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY
Brought a car through Zuto with Marsh financing it. Car was delivered to me with a clean Mot.Upon full inspection there were items that should be still outstanding on Current Mot and if we're made known at the time I would of either asked to be fixed or moved onto another car. What I thought would be a simple resolution is now with the ombudsman to review. I had provided all the required information to support my claim at my expense as requested by both parties. A shoddy company was used to run over my car to check these faults which lasted all of 5 mins, should of been comprehensive 4 - 6 hours thorough check, so guy posing as AA turned up started car, took pictures and left a report of which this company and Zuto seem to be deemed sufficient. Beggars belief how a 5 minute report that doesn't highlight all the complaints issues supercedes an mot that was done in an hour highlighting outstanding items in my complaint. Neither company bothered to thoroughly check process a complaint properly and is Currently breaching the consumer act, so to waste more of my time its now at the ombudsman. My experience, avoid both as shocking customer service.
My girlfriend purchased a vehicle with the help of financing company. They have convinced her to pay extra monthly for extended warranty. The car has completely broke down faulty head gasket after only 5k miles and 4 months of use. They have send an “expert” to examine the cause. This guy have left the garage after 5 minutes inspection, reported that this is a wear and tear and therefore broken head gasket is not covered in the warranty even though on their website it says head gasket is covered. Now after 3 weeks when we have to constantly chase them down, they have closed our case. We are going to contact the ombudsman now. Horrible, avoid at any cost!
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company and its staff should be reported to the fca for their scare tactics and bulling. Not only that for also making numerous errors when providing a settlement figure by not calculating interest correctly and the amount paid after 5 years of payments. It will be a long process but I'll see you in court!
This is my second time using Marsh and so smooth and straight forward! From start to end of the process every step i was updated and assisted! Thanks to Jack B for all your efforts!
Exceptional service from start to finish from Andy at Marsh. This is now my 6th car financed through Marsh Finance. I cannot be happier with the professionalism and service delivered ! Highly recommended.
What can I say? Amazing!! Helpful, friendly and nothing too much trouble. This is about the 6th time I've used Marsh and once again I've zero to complain about. Dealt with Andrew and he was always helpful made the purchase a breeze. Everytime said feel free to ask any questions at anytime. 5star service and highly recommend.
My mum died suddenly in March with no Will and I surrendered her vehicle. My mum had no assets, had a council property due to ill health and unfortunately died in debt. Despite me not being legally next of kin until today they have not contacted me directly apart from an email from solicitors demanding £3.5k. It is disgraceful I am pregnant and still processing the trauma of finding my 57 year old mother dead on the floor. To now demand £3.5k partly interest when they haven’t asked for a penny until now. Immoral company avoid at all costs. We use car finance for my business so do my clients but I will be spreading the word
