Reasonable price, convenient for city center, nice pub across the road. Take aways and restaurants close by. City center bus stop close. If you can eat it, a full breakfast that can keep you going all day. Knowledgeable landlord, who can advise on where to go and what to see. Highly recommended. If you are doing the Hadrian's wall experience this guest house is ON the wall, so you'll be sleeping where a Roman slept.

Great B&B, most friendly and helpful host, fantastic breakfast. Very clean and quiet house and surrounds. Perfectly placed if you're doing business up near the borders, lakes etc. Will stay again if I'm up that way.

Fantastic place to stay, very clean and the owner is very hospitable, helpful and friendly. Most highly recommended, I would definitely stay there again
