I was in M&S Mertha Tydfil yesterday and there was a member of staff reducing the prices of food, while she was doing this I saw a woman with a basket picking up items that were being reduced and she filled her basket.nAfter I left the store I saw her again in the car park, she was driving a black Mercedes, after a while the very same woman who had been reducing the prices of food , appeared next to the Mercedes, she had her coat on now and her basket was also full of food, she got into the car and they both drove away, they were obviously either friends or family members, the point is what is going on in this store, it's a disgrace that one person is allowed to fill her basket with reduced price food, while other customers couldn't get a look in and someone who works in the store is helping her, it's a disgrace !!! I thought M&S would have something to say about my review, but no, they obviously couldn't care less.
Merthyr tydfil restaurant/cafe. Slow service Sunday. What ever people asked for they didn't have food wise had to settle for coffee. What the hells going on with this store. Poor service poor everything. Don't think I'll bother in future.
Visited 28 May. Large and well-stocked food court, friendly staff incl. the security guard at the entrance. Usual pleasant M&S experience.
Very disappointed with the service in the cafe. We arrived at 4.30, and were told at 4.43pm that we couldn't have fish and chips, or other hot food as the cafe would close at 5pm.nWe spoke to Hayley, the food Manager downstairs who dealt with our disappointment brilliantly by offering us sandwiches.nMy wife had been with school children all day in Cardiff on a trip and was very hungry.nHayley saved the day, she was so pleasant and helpful but I am disappointed with the service at the cafe. Customers who were just ahead ordered fish and chips, but I felt the lady on the till was not being truthful about running out of what we asked for. My wife asked for schnizel but was told they had run out of this also, 'there is no hot food available'.nAgain, thank goodness for Hayley!
You cant not like M&S and this 1 is no different. Well presented,clean, good quality clothes and other items as well friendly staff. Cafè is small and a busy one, but does serve light bites and good coffee.. Who knows when you spend a afternoon or day shopping you need a coffee.This isnt just any store this is a M&S store.
