I had a great experience at B&Q on Sunday. Anthony was incredibly helpful, gave me advice on the best timber to use and let me know about the B&Q club card and the cutting service. He helped me load the trolly and offered further assistance, fantasist. Customer service. Steve who was cutting was also a brilliant help and made the process easy and Maria on the check out helped with all my purchases and my B&Q club card.nThank you to all the team!
Absolutely fantastic experience at B&Q today!nDirk was an absolute star. He went above and beyond — walking from one end of the shop to the other to help me find the right silicone, and then taking the time to patiently explain how the light switch works, which cables go where, and how not to get them mixed up. He explained everything so clearly and kindly, and made something that felt confusing suddenly feel manageable.nEven though he was clearly very busy and short on time, he never rushed me and was incredibly helpful and sweet throughout.nOn top of that, the lady at the till was absolutely lovely and helped me sort out the barcode properly, making checkout quick and stress-free.nThis is customer service at its very best. Huge thanks to Dirk and the wonderful B&Q team — you genuinely made my day!
Drove over 30 minuites to collect an order from Merthyr store, when i arrived the lady working there scanned my QR code that had been emailed to me and checked my confirmation email, she then asked if i had ID, i explained that i didnt have photo ID but i did have the confirmation email, QR code and proof of debit card that i paid with. Told me i couldnt have the items without photo ID, im 40 years old and i look 40 years old! Told her to cancel my order and have a refund so she did. I was then allowed to putchase the exact same items from the shop floor and pay for them without ID!!! Make it make sense! Jobs worth comes to mind!!
Good variety of stock in all departments, garden centre, trade point and helpful staff. Handy for gardeners, DIYers and trades. Delivery and click and collect also available alongside ample parking
