Food was great and the staff were fantastic and accommodating with our twins. Pretty family friendly. Really lovely staff, Andrea the cook was lovely and went out of her way to talk to us.
I went to the cafe here this morning with my granny, granda and mum. A lovely woman Kerry told my granny to get a seat and she also brought our drinks down to the table for us. She went above and beyond. I even witnessed her unboxing a toy for a little girl! Thank you so much Kerry! Also thank you for the other staff who served us at the till and served our food. We really appreciated it. Amazing customer service!
Loyal customer of years here accused of stealing a paper bag at the self service till by abdul ..reece the dutu manager was trying to push into my face and get me to leave the store. Never been so embarrased in my life. I spend thousands a year in M&S never again. Ill take my money to Tesco or lidl from now on. Heres some free advice M&S dont walk up on loyal customers and accuse them of stealing when you have no proof, the till checked out and it proves i chose 1 bag when paying so dont accuse me of stealing again. Shame on your staff who obviously dont know how to deal with adults.
I will not visiting to cafe again, bad customer service and bad manager team. Unhelpful when I was asking them for a help. Cafe nero or greggs much better and food is more tasty!
I was in the newtownabbey store on Saturday 13th January. There was a lot of things reduced so I picked up the goose fat roasties which were reduced. I was in the queue and there was a lady infront of me, we both had used a divider for our shopping however our things caught in the belt abit so the sales assistant lady did not look as if she was enjoying herself being at work muttered away to herself. Then it was my turn she scanned the roasties and studied them took the label off put it back on. I was just standing there with a puzzled look??? So she then said I can’t sale this as this is a restricted item. What I was thinking roasties lol anyway she garbled all this M&S policy at me quite aggressively I might add and I didn’t understand a word of it in fact I still don’t ! So I took the receipt and went and found a lovely lady who worked there pricing reduced items. So she came with me over to the lady who scanned my shopping in. When the lady seen us coming she left the till while serving other people. Approached us angrily saying I told this girl that the roasties were a restricted item and I’ve just sent someone over to take them all off and stood there fuming glaring at me. I actual had to say calm down Sharon. I work in retail myself and understand you can have a bad day but come on M&S what happened to customer service.
