Very helpful staff they go out of their way to help you out especially Jamie who said I could give him a kick if he gave me the wrong Phono Connection. Infact he got it correct well done but my mistake it's to long so I'll need to get a shorter Phono Extension.

The staff here went way beyond helpful and managed to make my brother-in-law's day with their understanding, know how and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much. My brother-in-law, Fred, is blind but is still very competent at DIY. His mind can picture any problem and solve it. If he doesn't have the right tools to hand or bits and bobs in store, he quickly becomes frustrated and isolated. In his sighted life he was a creative genius; innovative and resourceful. Today he discovered Maplin's had moved into the area and had everything, and more, that his heart desires. He was truly like a kid in a sweetie shop, and I couldn't stop smiling. The staff were happy for him to feel his purchases, taking everything out of the packaging so he knew what he was buying. They really couldn't do enough for him. Scott went above and beyond the call of duty. I was so impressed by his empathy, interest and respect. This young man was knowledgeable, engaging, amusing and he ensured dignity and respect. Thank you so much Scott. Fred was absolutely buzzing. We eventually left Fred at home with a cup of tea, a packet of Hobnobs and all of his new toys and the biggest smile across his face that I've seen in a long time. Thank you, Maplin's, Forge. Scott, we hope your partner isn't too upset about the TV being dismantled and reprogrammed. Do your thing, Scott, and thanks a million. We will recommend you every time.

Assistant was very helpful. Produced what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Also pointed out features on another product I was unaware of. Colleague was being helpful with a pensioner. Positive experience will probably return in future.
