Came here for a spa day in December. The staff were friendly though found it understaffed at times waiting for someone to come back to talk to about the Jacuzzi. Would probably call it more of a gym day. The pool was OK, steam rooms were nice, lunch provided was OK, but felt really let down the Jacuzzi heating was broken and it was ice cold! The lady managing tried to sort it several times but no luck. This was one thing we were looking forward to most so we left early as swimming and steam rooms got a bit boring.

Booked this hotel at 9pm that night arrived at 11.45pm. Hadn't had chance to look into properly but was amazed....the hotel was amazing, very clean, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and when I woke and opened the blinds my room had an amazing view...just what I needed after a stressful day at royal surrey hospital...staff were very friendly and helpful. Was being renovated but didn't effect my stay at all only wish I had timw to use the free spa facilities

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!
Came here for a romantic mid week getaway at a spa hotel.
Booked only a couple of weeks ago and nothing on the website or booking form to say the spa was under renovation. Hotel is a building site, spa isn't working and when we spoke to the manager they point blank refused to give us any sort of refund saying their prices are the best in the area and the spa is just a free bonus. Appalling customer service.

I booked 3 rooms for a celebratory weekend marking my mother's 75th birthday.
The rooms were not properly cleaned and the manager implied we had not looked properly when we asked for towels. 
The swimming pool and gym were not in a fit state for use. The manager said they were open to residents, but at their own risk. 
The restaurant  / breakfast room was dirty and the entrance door broken; so bad we took a taxi to a nearby pub for our celebratory evening meal. 
The receptionist  / manager was quite rude to us, and there was no apology or apparent effort to rectify the issues we had. 
This is not the posh spa hotel you would expect; the staff, especially the manager, treat it like a cheap "take it as it comes" experience.
