Mandolay Hotel is our local boutique hotel. It has a character and charm of a fairytale. We have now done a lot of wedding shows there and people who book this lovely venue are our customers too. It kind of make sense as we are only 10 minutes or so walk away (depending on how fast you can walk). We love the staff of the hotel as they are very friendly and helpful.

Very good boutique hotel. Individually styled rooms. Great bar. Dinner menu good and twhen the food arrived it didn't disappoint. Good breakfast. Worth staying here if going to the G Live venue in Guildford.

We got a small room with a tiny bathroom for £88, buffet-style breakfast included. 

Reception and Bar staff was somewhere on the learning curve, restaurant staff (breakfast) was tip-top but of course unable to save the buffet-style full English breakfast from soggy hash browns, limp bacon and watery scrambled eggs.

The room was nicely decorated and sufficient to our needs, the bathroom was tiny with the usual lack of thought for people actually wishing to use it. A single (broken) hook inside the door for my towel and my things? A small shelf, mostly occupied with house toiletries, doubling up as an inadequate towel drying rack on top of the toilet? 

All in all OK and meeting usual standards in this country, that's all I can say.

Great hotel and wedding venue, brilliant staff a delightful day! The venue hall is very large and the hotel has a great restaurant.

I attended a course organised via my work. I found the hotel to have a high standard of cleanliness. We were provided lunch which was a hot and cold buffet which was of a high quality. Staff were friendly and helpful.
