Small boutique hotel in a picturesque University town. Perfect for a weekend away. Walking distance to the High Street and plenty of great restaurants. The hotel's restaurant also offers a great menu and a fabulous high tea with gluten free options!. Shout out to David and Suhi in the kitchen who put together an amazing gluten free high tea! Clean and cozy rooms small bathrooms but this is England. Excellent and professional staff. Can't wait to find a reason to return!

We had a very warm welcome.  We were given information on services and WiFi.  Breakfast was lovely I opted for a continental, where there was plenty of choice.  The staff in the breakfast room were also very pleasant and helpful.  I have stayed in many hotels, but this one stands out due to the quality and friendliness of the staff.  The rooms are beautiful, clean and nicely decorated.  I will be coming back here again.

First of all, a huge thank you to the staff that made our stay enjoyable. The room was very clean thanks to Sijo, and Scarlet on reception have us a fantastic greeting and orientation before directing us to our suitennThe suite itself was a very nice room, but is the reason this review got 4* overall instead of 5*. In a hotel room, you basically want somewhere nice to sleep and somewhere nice to wash, with accessible plug sockets so you can charge things up, be a comfortable temperature and have good tea /coffee facilities. The room scored 3/5 of these.nnThe bed was tiny for a suite, and made for an uncomfortable night. If one or both of you are above average in height or weight, this isn't for younnI'm also surprised at the design of the bathroom. It chooses beauty over function. The hand towel holder is directly above the bathroom shelf, the shower curtain cuts off half the floor space in the bath making it feel like you will fall over at any moment. The bath is also very high to climb into.nnGood points include wonderful accessibility of plug sockets, great room design, very nice drinks facilities. The wider hotel was also enjoyable and I have to say the breakfast selection was easily the best I've come across in a long time.

We had a lovely time staying at the hotel me and my boyfriend have stayed here a few times. We had a lovely welcome from Scarlet and the bartenders who gave us a proper wonderful experience. We will definitely keep coming here me and my boyfriend love it here.

Nice rooms, quaint building.  Helpful staff. Well situated for Guildford Central.nThe downside is there's no lift, so you will need to carry your luggage upstairs,  but the staff did offer to help. Hotel parking can be paid through the Pay By Phone app.
