The whole experience was an absolute pleasure. From the moment the owner picked us up from the station to the comfortable and well equipped room, I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. Extensive breakfast options and room cleanliness standards were continuously and subtly maintained throughout the stay. Furthermore, the location is fantastic: close to some great pubs and restaurants yet two minutes away from some stunning countryside.

I really liked the stay there. The room was well-equipped and tidy. The owner was very likeable and tried to make my experience the best possible. Don't be misled by a bad-looking backyard. Definitely recommend it.

NOTE: Google Maps place Addison B&B in the middle of Addison Road, whereas it is actually located on the corner of Addison & Cooper Rd. A pleasant, very well furnished room: a comfortable double bed, storage space, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, plates, glasses, cutlery, ... A nice clean bathroom (no shower curtain, but bathroom's layout makes that less of an issue). Well-stocked for self-catering breakfast needs (bread, milk, juice, jams, tea, and more) - I did not make use of the English breakfast option. Good WiFi and lots of plug sockets. I was situated in a downstairs room, access via the secured garden gate. The garden itself is a bit of a... work in progress, but I was there primarily for the bed, so that did not bother me. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

Really poor service. The place is not visibly sign posted which makes it difficult to find. We booked the room and when we arrived the owner was surprised that we were there. The courtyard around this place(it can't be called a B&B) was muddy and durty. The room wasn't ready and it looked dreadful. Nothing like in the pictures. The bathroom was tiny, with a toilet, sink and a shower head but no actual bath or curtain. If you needed a shower the water was going straight on the toilet. Unfortunately because they only do check-in after 6pm and other complications we did not have any other choice. We payed for breakfast when we booked it and their idea of breakfast was some butter, bread, jam and expired milk. You could easily buy all this from the shop for under £5. When they were asked for cooked breakfast they laughed and when they realised that it was not appropriate to behave like this they sent an email saying that it needs to be booked in advance - this was on the last day of the stay. No matter what you do do not stay here!!!
