Manchester Easy Rent is by far the best letting agents I have dealt with in Manchester. I have rented with at least 4 others including private landlords and MER is miles better. Phil and Angela are responsive, genuinely caring and helpful. This letting agent and the landlord are flexible with home furnishings and alterations and with me having a cat. Couldn’t recommend them enough :
I've lived in over a dozen rented places in England and Manchester Easy Rent are just vastly better than any agency I've encountered! From start to finish, they've treated me with kindness and respect, they met all my needs and answered to queries really quickly. They made sure I have everything I need and that the house was in perfect order. Their properties are fairly priced and made affordable. I can't overstate how massively different my experience with them was versus what I'm normally used to in the renting world. I would highly recommend using Manchester Easy Rent.
I used Manchester Easy Rent for my third year house during university and I couldn't have had a better experience. Phil and his team were always very quick to respond to any problem we had in the house, and any issue was always sorted within a matter of days. They are a pleasure to work with and make renting an easy and better experience overall by always ensuring that the tenants are satisfied. Would highly recommend using their services.
I have rented through Manchester Easy Rent for the last two years. Phil and the team at Easy Rent have been a pleasure to deal with and I chose my second property based on wanting to stay with Manchester Easy Rent because they are by far the best letting agents in Manchester. Manchester Easy Rent are very friendly, responsive and always able to help. We have always had plenty of warning for viewings and if there is ever a problem, it has been fixed or resolved within the next few days as Phil always makes it a priority to keep his tenants happy. Phil goes above and beyond for his tenants and I will forever be grateful for all his help over the years and for making my first experiences of renting a doddle! Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to rent in Manchester.
Rented two different properties in 2 years with easy rent and had no issues at all. Any time there was a problem with something at the houses, someone would always be out the next day to sort it out, the garden was taken care of and the people we dealt with at the agency like Phil and Simon who we usually saw at the house were really nice and friendly. I’d definitely recommend easy rent.
We had a fantastic year renting a student house from Manchester Easy Rent. The house was in good condition, it was great value and when the gate was broken they fixed it quickly. Simon always notified us when some one was coming round for a viewing or maintenance. We got our full deposit back easily. Our experience with them made our final year of uni much less stressful!
I rented a property through Manchester Easy rent and they were excellent from the 1st day until the day I returned the keys. They were always very helpful, very friendly and very professional. In case of any issue they sorted right away, in one or 2 days. It was a very good experience and I honestly recommend the agency. Thank you Angela and Phil
Excellent landlords. By far the best ones I've had. Always very friendly giving us plenty of notice before coming round and assisting us with any problems promptly. Replaced our oven and fridge when they broke very quickly. Gave us a very comprehensive list of how to clean the house to receive our deposit back. When we made sure we'd done their full list we received our whole deposit back in full quickly. Excellent landlords would recommend them to anyone. Our house was also a lovely house.
Worst landlords I've ever had! They always let themselves into our home without knocking - Phil just let himself in with a key. Once he let himself inside, walked upstairs and proceeded to unlock my bedroom door also without knocking. I was naked in bed and had to run across the room to slam the door shut with my body to keep some dignity. It was humiliating and invasive. It didn't feel like the house was ours, even though we paid a grand a month in rent. On multiple ! occasions I walked downstairs in a towel, thinking I was home alone, to see Phil in the living room. He never apologised for any of these events - he treated our home like it was his, even though he was just the agent and not the landlord or the ones paying rent. After the first month, I asked them to provide us with 24 hour notice before coming around. They agreed initially, but within a month they were back to letting themselves in. We received about 9 texts over the last 5 months of the tenancy saying "House viewing in half an hour." They are completely unprofessional and very intimidating. Phil also blamed us for breaking the microwave - but the electrician said it was because the microwave was old and it certainly wasn't our fault. They also tried to keep £250 of the deposit for a 'broken mirror' - there was no broken mirror! I had to go back to the property to ask the new tenants to let me in so that I could take a picture to prove the mirror wasn't broken, even though they had been in the house and seen for themselves. They also lied to us repeatedly during the initial viewing of the house - they said that the sofa would be replaced for when we moved in, and the garden would be cleaned. Neither of these things happened and the sofa was still the same when I went back around over a year later to take a picture of the mirror.Ditto garden. We did complain when we moved in, but our texts were pretty much ignored. This isn't even half of it, but I'm already rambling. Again, worst landlords I've ever had.
Living with them now, there are a lot of bad reviews on here and i must say they're fantastic! great house, great price, all appliances included. Very easy to get in touch with, just pick up the phone or call. They give you 24 hours notice via text if they need to come around for whatever reason, when we moved in there was no key in the house to the patio doors and they were round in less than an hour, and had a new key cut and gave it to us less than an hour after that even though it was moving-in-day with all their properties so they were really busy. No problems at all so far, we're very very happy.
