I know there are a lot of bad reviews, but my experience of securing a rental and completing all forms and documents to transfer has been excellent. Lorraine was efficient and always got back to me quickly. Cheers!
Last week they published house in Rightmove and I called emailed but no response then went there personally with Uber from Preston 33£ they told it’s booked and very bad customer service with rudeness.today again I saw again board to let then I went again there office same answer and behaviour my question is if it’s booked then why again and again putting signs to let to let to let .ridiculous ,,returned painfully twice in a week ok it’s booked no problem it’s depends on luck but no positive response and attitude they didn’t ask for other properties they have o ask what I want didn’t take my details for other properties but no nothing just two words!!!! it’s booked and you can go !!!! I am sharing picture it’s taken today staff of other office Burton road is very nice but this office in town centre very unprofessional disrespectful they don’t want to see face of foreigners
They have been advistising a lot of properties recently and I'm suprised they even let or sell them as they don't reply to emails or answer there phones... I happen to be lucky once to view a property and when we went we saw a few problems already and when telling the lady showing us around she rudely turned round and told us that if we want perfection then we should increase our budget bare in mind they wanted £900 as it was which is a lot and that this clearly isn't the house for us. I found this very rude and unprofessional.
I usually don't post reviews, but considering the many negative reviews here I feel compelled to say that I have received a most excellent service by Philip James so far. Lorraine and Mariah have been incredibly helpful, on point with all communications, and attentive to detail. Thank you.
I dealt with Lorraine, she is very nice and welcoming person with friendly personality and I really liked her professional work and her quick response. Many thanks with best regards.
I have been trying to get a hold of them on the phone for days now just to simply view properties and not once have they answered the phone or replied to an email.
They don’t answer any calls or emails. I’ve walked past their offices and have been inside a few times and you just see the phone ringing and the staff acting like the phone doesn’t exist. Every time my partner and I see property that we’re interested in then find out it’s managed by Philip James, we just sigh and say forget it. I’ve sat at my table and called over and over none stop, and they just eventually turned their phone off so it wouldn’t even ring. Disgraceful.
I can begin by saying how disappointed I am with PJ and tell everyone to avoid this agency. They are very unprofessional and do not care about their tenants wellbeing. We contacted them 13 months ago with regards to several issues amongst which a very bad mould build up and to this day they have failed to fix the issues. When we emailed them we would get an automatically generated response or some excuses and be ignored when we asked for updates on the work that needs to be done. Not only they take ages to reply but also take ages to carry any maintenance work they agreed to do. We had mushrooms growing in the house in several locations, entire walls covered with mould, leaks and other issues but still, they think they solved every issue swiftly and to a high standard, which really amuses me. I will attach some pictures to show you the state of the property after 13 months since the first issue was reported. Definitely would not recommend so please do yourself a good and pick another agency. Philip James provided the most appalling customer service I have ever had and the only thing they are good at is being downright rude and abrupt, lie, give out slow and misleading information and rip you off. *Attached are some pictures with the mould build up in the flat that just got worst since it was reported on the day we moved in 13 months ago. Letting your tenants live like this in a global pandemic pretty much sums it up
A shocking experience. They don't answer the phone, they don't return messages, emails or applications to view properties. I've never experienced a worst agency in my life.
