During University term time opening times are 8am- 10pm Mon- Fri, 10am-10pm Saturday and 12pm-6pm Sunday.

Decent sound and reasonable size venue. Did seem awkwardly run. They rushed people in and pushed people into not buying merch as they made you wait if you wanted to get any. Leaving the venue was difficult because there's only 1 exit and big queues formed for merch from the people being funneled in on opening.
Lovely building and accessibility is absolutely fantastic! Wide corridors, lift and an excellent view of the stage. The staff are lovely and caring. First visit but I would be more than happy to visit again thankyou so much
Went to see Chris Shiflett in concert. The academy was easy to find and there was plenty of parking by the way of Cecil Street Car Park. The venue was easily accessible for those with disabilities and they will provide seating for those that require it. Drinks available by way of a bar in the venue. Well manned with plenty of staff and security went out of their way to help. The acoustics were great and we all had a blast!!
Cracking venue. Saw frank turner and the meffs here. Sound was great and the venue staff were spot on
Great venue. I visited with my daughter for a Cody Pennington concert, and it was well-organised and clean. The staff was great.
Great venue, probably my second favourite room of the 4 Academy rooms, number 3 being my personal favourite. Nice size and a good view of the stage wherever you are really. The Cloudbusting gig I attended recently was fantastic.
Fantastic venue to watch live bands. The sound was brilliant, the bar well staffed and having a separate area for the bands merch stall is a genius move.
Excellent venue for smaller gigs - friendly and well managed - facilities great - best parking we found was by booking someone’s drive on “Just Park” app - 5 minutes walk away - Blancmange were awesome of course
Had the best time watching Bailey Zimmerman. The venue is so intimate and a great view from any position.
Awesome venue. Perfect size. Not too small but not too big. Ideal if you want a more intimate gig which doesn't feel cramped. Highly recommended.
