Fantastic menu, would be great if they added more vegan options for my vegan friends. Their Sunday roast was very good and the portions were generous. The staff is helpful and friendly, highly recommend this place.

Waitresses are so nice! Will definitely be coming again.  Burger was delightful, such warm hospitality. Would give 6 for politeness if I could!

Very kind staff waitress was great very knowledgeable about the dishes almost back to normal as don't have to wear masks unless you want to although the staff are still wearing them! The food was also great and plentiful so i highly recommend The Malt Shovel to anyone

We had a lovely meal. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The service was fantastic and our waitress Phil, was friendly, attentive and at the table just when we needed her. Social distancing was firmly adhered to without spoiling the fun of our little party. Will definitely be returning soon!

Clearly have nothing but disdain for boaters. After lock down you would assume they would welcome trade from all parts of society rather than excluding them, but it seems not.

Never fails to deliver. This pub is honestly one of the best in the area. Not only can you except great food & drinks and exceptional service, but in recent times Dan and his team have been going the extra mile to make sure everyone can be served in a safe and secure environment. Always top of my recommendations.
